if you want to add your own song to your profile, the best way to do it is to create another profile then convert it to a band one.lets call it random123. then upload your songs!
log out of random123 and back into your proper one, and view random123. there should be a rectangle with the songs on it, with options to play etc. you want add to profile.

Since I'm not in a band and I wanted songs that artist didn't put on myspace I found a way around it. First upload the song you want to http://www.fileden.com/. Then insert the url you get into this code so that it looks like this <embed allowScriptAccess="never" allownetworking="internal" src="http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/7/20/137976/12-camron-dead_or_alive_ft_jimmy_jones-rns.mp3" width="300" height="40" hidden="no" autoplay loop="false">
But replace your link with the one I currently have.

don't we have enough fake fronts for ourselves on the internet? Facebook, LiveJournal, mySpace... not to mention the plethora of forums and listserves, MLs and other chat hubs... At what point do we cut that stuff out and go back to interacting with people face to face?
i already spend way too much time than is probably healthy online. I certainly don't need some other internet communication tool.
