Terra i was also a fan of Yashamaru he had cool ninja moves,it was very sad how lame he died. For a ninja to get strangled like he wasnt anything.

Evil Genius who does the Berserk manga, have found a sequal or a prequal of Basilisk. They have people who wanna do it they only have a translator short.

If you wanna see this preqaul or sequal and know how to translate japanese or know someone who does let EG or me know.

Holy shit I want that :O!

As a side-note I actually dreamt about Yashamaru last night, he fought against a giant seamonster and the fight was freakin' awesome. But then he got aboard a ship which crashed and he died anyway. Then the scene switched to Shikamaru from Naruto who somehow knew that Yashamaru had died.

    Crossovers kick ass.

You must draw manga out of that, Terra. I bet it would kick ass.

    (Or perhaps not.)

Go got to stop dreaming about anime Terra.

Anyways, I just finished Basilisk and I must say, wow. Terra is right, this shit has EVERYTHING. A must see, unless your like 10 because this show isn't very kid-friendly. Don't stop because you don't like the first few episodes!

Just finished watching the series and i must say it is one of the best series i have seen in a long time. It has instantly become one of my favorites. I downloaded it all at once and well i couldn't take myself away from my computer. I enjoyed it so much that i forgot that the body needs food and rest to survive.

I am truly liking these Ninja oriented anime and this is one of the best if not the best i have seen. It is a compelling love story, filled with hatred, action and a beautiful storyline all wrapped up in amazing graphics. A japanese Romeo and Juliette you might say but alot better.

It is sad to know humans are capable of hating so deeply that the only solution is death. That is what i was most drawn too. That ever so real feeling you get from the anime. It is like this could actually happend, if it already haven't.

Actually it has Its reflect a very clear image of the world we live in, and the states the very real fact that everything doesn't work out, and show how people are munipluated for the pleasure of others.

All i have to say is wow. And it has fuel an apitite for more.

so if there is more like this out there send it my way it will truly be appreciated.

    Basilisk: Ouka Ninpouchou

Plot Summary: The battle for succession that continued for three generations of shogun in the Keichō era culminated in a gruesome battle of ninja arts between the Kōga and Iga clans. Amidst a rain of flower petals, a man and woman who had decided to live for love were separated once again. However, it is said that by the hand of Hattori Hanzo's adopted son, Kyōhachirō, these two lovers were given life again and left two mementos behind. These children, born with a destiny of their own, were called Hachirō Kōga and Hibiki Iga. The former had eyes like his father's, and the latter had eyes like her mother's. It is now the Kan'ei era, and the land is at peace. As ninjas begin to disappear into the shadows after being deemed unnecessary, The Kouga and Iga clans ask a favor of Hachirō and Hibiki in hopes of reinforcing their foundations.

Those cutsy character designs aren't going to win any fans. It hardly feels ninja at all. At least the OP/ED aren't bad.

It managed get cliffhangers right though. I'll keep at it for a bit longer.

    If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
