    Basilisk: Kouga Ninpou Chou

Hehe why bother to learn some cool fighting powers when you are immortal and you are good enough ninja to kill without powers. I mean he is like Manji from BOTI he doesnt need to rely on his skill anymore.

I'm not so sure Tenzen is a ninja, in the end. It sounds to me more like he hates ninjas. If you pay close attention, at the end of 22 he says: "Iga and Koga, I'll make you fade away." Whilst hatred for Koga isn't uncommon among Iga (or vice versa), I think Tenzen has some different reason for his actions. It seems to me like he wanted them to annihilate each other, not one to win and one to lose. He doesn't show any remarkable fighting skills perhaps because he's not interested in such. And like Hakeem said, he can get the work done in other ways, so it's not vital to him.

Maybe he has a reason,a personal reason to hate Koga and Iga. Well we know he hates Koga cause they didnt want him or something.

He does fight like ninja and seem to hate samurais too.

I wonder what he wants to do after he kills Koga and Iga i mean whats his goal after that.

I wonder how effectively either of those two lovebirds can fight the other... Gennosuke might settle for a similar ending to Broken Sword and Flying Snow's in Hero (Yimou Zhang's movie, live action), but I doubt Oboro would be up to it.

One more ep to go anymore, but I still have no idea if they die or not. Although the name of the next ep is someewhat indicative, but who knows...

badass episode. Tenzen finally getting brutally decapitated for once, then trying to futily crawl back to life with all "cute and innocent" Oboro giving him a pretty nasty time there. THen after his face turns into a blood volcano she goes ahead and kills off his talking neck too lol.

Plus on the sentimental side of things, Oboro not only exonerates herself by admitting she sealed her eyes, but she saves Gennosuke for once and gives Kagero a little judicial treatment.

But the gore was the best part. clappity.

EDIT: oh right one more thing: Gennosuke: "And I'm the last of the Kouga!" Kagero: "gasp waitttttt, helllp I'm still alivee" lol..

Damn that Kagero was a poisonous snake. She actually wanted to finish Gennosuke, because he would despite everything still want Oboro (and not her).

Technically I think Oboro killed Tenzen, what makes no sense though is having the grandmother say Tenzen's thing isn't a ninja art and then having Oboro's eyes kill Tenzen, when we know that Oboro's eyes only block ninja arts. It's like they intentionally created a plot hole that was completely unnessecary.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It really annoyed me as Tenzen is easily my favorite character.

... However, I have to say that it was a very fitting end for such a twisted character. Violent, bloody and extremely fucked up. I salute you Tenzen, one of the true villains!
/ No, you warrant no villain's exposition from me.

Now, we know Oboro's eyes block ninja art, but are you sure we know it blocks only ninja arts? It could be a more general thing, as well. But the ninjas obviously only know about ninja arts.
