I think they're just gonna use SD for both Seed and Destiny...it makes life simpler...and it might be a subliminal statement that Destiny is just a horrible copy of SEED...I like that thought...i like it a lot[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
But they forgot a pretty skillful pilot in this and two pretty bad-ass mobile suits in my opinion.
The pilot of the Gouf Custom in 08th MS team. That guy rocked! Sure he was ugly and sure he died, but he was still one of the best pilots I've seen. Ressoursful as hell!
As for the machines, well, there's his Gouf Custom, and there's also the Gerbera Tetra. That thing's not too big on variety, but it's monstreous speed and deadly beam machinegun more then compensate in my oppinion. I mean come on! Each shot being as powerful as a beam rifle's? That's overkill! ^_^;

Anywho, Loran should be #1 because I swear Kira right now is what Loran was. Heck Loran's Gundam was more overpowered than Freedom, but Im not going to go in on why because that spoils the greatness that is Turn A's story.
EDIT: BTW I can undestand all the Seed characters, but really a few of the MSG Original characters and Zeta Characters really need to be higher...those two series were far better than SEED/DESTINY(which draw roots from the original series and Zeta...though Destiny is a joke now)
you know, I have nothing against Loran (Laura) but I just found Turn A to be SOOO boring....it took a while for it to develop for me. The action was dull, although i did enjoy the overpowering of the Turn A and the Turn X....maybe it's just me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
Honestly, I like it starting off slow. It really gives it flavor as the war starts escalating. The action was a bit dull(though it got better the more the story progressed), but the main aspect of it was its story and character development(mainly Kihel and Diana's development). Honestly, I rank it up there as one of my favorite anime. BTW for a while there it didnt feel like a Gundam series, which may have been a blessing for it.Originally posted by: Strike Freedom

Zeta on the other hand was superb on all aspects. Im just sad ZZ started off so horribly(Why the hell would anyone start off a sequal to a series, that ending was so dark, with such a lighthearted story. BTW, the end of ZZ isn't too bad, but the begining ruins everything Zeta set up. Plus the humor is ZZ trys to be funny but isnt.

no cagalli should be number 1, after watching gundam seed all over again i seem to like cagalli more than meyrin and any other seed/destiny girl now, she had a nice personality in seed and that episode when her and athrun were alone on an island was one of the most romantic stuff i ever saw, not to sound corny or anything *cough cough*

I didn't mean that I was a diehard Gundam fan. What I meant was that obviously a lot of kids vote because Seed/Destiny are the newest shows with the flashiest graphics.
Out of all the shows ever conceived, I doubt it's the universal opinion that Kira, Lacus & Freedom are the best things ever to grace Gundam.

Yeah i agree...but the thing is in Japan..most people like the new stuff and dont care about the old ones...like if they were a fan of Kira in SEED they wouldnt care what happen to him in SD unless something bad happened like breaking an arm or something...then Fukuda would recieve hate mail to pile up like mt.everest

Yes he was based on Char(Chars image went to Rau though>.<[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. He used a red mobile suit the whole time and even became Shins semimentor in destiny like Char did as Quattro to Camille. Though, char did switch to white sometime...meh, I dont know. Oh well, Athrun definitely got a lot of his personality from char though(not all, but a lot)
