    anime v.s manga

There have been a few threads about this. But this one is the only other thread on the list of pages:

    http://forums.gotwoot.net/mess...5536&enterthread=y

That one has a reference to the Renji fight.

Eps 43 contains material from chapter 120-126 (unsure of smaller range without watching the eps). Parts of chapter 120 were near the end of eps 42.

The manga is at chapter 189 (you can figure that out from the thread titles).

So far, the pace has been 2-3 chapters per eps, with occasionally more (like the Kenpachi fight) and occasionally less (Some of the earlier portions of the show, mainly anyplace with more dialogue than action). That means chapter 188-189 would be roughly about eps 62 (someone else figured this before, don't ask me). Figuring in the movie (which we know nothing about) the numbers may be different.

I think its around 130 now. Just download a manga 126 if you have seen it download 128 etc untill new story line. I mean each chapter is only like 3 mb

Just know so far there has been no fillers in the anime. There was one that was considered a filler. But it was actually from the manga. Think it was Episode 33. As far as what is the difference. A good ol' 60 chapters or so.

I don't read the manga, but given the link between episode to chapter, with about 60 chapters 'till 189, I'd guess at about 20 episodes 'till the anime catches up to where it is, maybe more if the anime brings out fights with an anime's ability to make fights not only cool, but look awesome, unlike manga with still pictures of blocked hits and direct hits. Know what I mean?

The anime follows the manga almost frame for frame, just with transitions between those frames.

crosses fingers and hopes there is no filler till this arc ends.

Why only till this arc ends, I'd be crossing my fingers for no filler at all, and the anime to just stop for a while.

judging by the pace they're going in the anime, i'd hav to say the producers of the anime are going to have to go on hiatus soon just to accomodate for the manga chapters. mangaka don't take breaks >=P
