mm, thats the movie they animated for the preview show of the PS3...
even though, both Bandai and the game developer claims that the graphics wont differ that much from the animated movie and the game...
still....that has to be seen.....
actually guys theres 2 new videos being played by bandai reps and showing the game in real time have a look at the trailers section. its from the anual playstation meeting that happend just today have a look.

those gfx aint next gen, you can clearly c how poor the frame rate is, how bland the textures are on the buildings how low poly the buildings are, how low res the impact "puffs" and muzzle flash are, also no decals on the things that gets shot, and no other destruction either, just looks like a ps2 game, using alot of specular normal mapping
well the game is in early development with the gpu n processor not finalised not to mention devskits but it looks alot better for me eaven at this early stage then ps2 games like you say but every as there opinion. i guess we'll have to wait for more high end graphics but then again gameplay is what its all about.
im saying a ps2 game WITH specular normal mapping, that is something non existent in ps2 games
Not too impressed yet.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of this game, tho.
