<3 Tessa-chan! <3 Lucifus! ....chotto mate.
There's still three more eps. That's a lot of room for things to happen considering Rin's already made a choice.
Oh, this episode had a beautiful ending (would have made a great ending for the whole series, if not for some other unresolved issues).
Although Sia and Nerine came back, their roles seem to be quite forcibly reduced, suddenly. They had their absence first, like FelixZeroAlastor noted, and now they look more like background characters. Well, no doubt the remaining eps will be partly used to sort things out with them.
I think there has to be another dramatic event, you cant have the climax and conclusion of a series happen with 3 episodes to go. Im really interested to see what they do, it could make or break the series.
I liked the outcome of episode 21, but I miss our adorable rulers of heaven and hell. They cut off like 70% of the supporting cast in these last couple of episodes.
Congrats to rin for taking some responsibility with kaede.
For some reason, I just didn't buy the outcome of episode 21. Seemed kind of anti-climatic for me. Hopefully something really interesting will happen in the last 3 episodes. 19 and 20 were pretty good episodes. 21 reminded me why Shuffle sucked so much. Hopefully it'll have a stellar finale.
And dammit, I wanted him to end up with Kaede.. Please, let that happen in the next 3 episodes@directors
This last episode kind of returned it to normal after the furious couple of episodes. I was also hoping it wouldn't happen like that... The show certainly was looking altogether different for a while.
Word, Kraco.
Episode 21 was complete bullshit. Kaede, who was on the brink of psychosis, suddenly returned to normal and willingly handed over Rin to Asa like that? What the crap is that weak shit. I'm hoping it's just a brief resting point for the REAL storm to come in episodes 22, 23 and 24.
smack Rin
This ep was great. Kaede managed to pull herself together. I guess from now on Kaede and Primula will just wing it without Rin. Where are Sia and Nerine though? Hell. Where the hell are their fathers. The whole reason they are on Earth is so they can get Rin to marry their daughters. Come on. I felt like they just threw that out the window a couple of eps ago. Everytime we finish a characters story or resolve the problem they have had for years it seems that their role just dies. Although I love Asa I feel she has to die for us to get much drama for the rest of the series unless they surprise me with something else.
Eps 22 is out by AnimeU
SHUFFLE! 22
My only complaint is how completely and quickly Kaede got over it...kinda strangely abrupt. They did need time to start up again and finish off Asa's storyline, so I suppose it needed to get done, even if I don't like it.
hmm...the ending is really unexpected

is episode 24 really the final ep??!
24 ends
how sad...another great series ended
yea.... stupid that great series allways ends way to early
is there anything continuing to this story? cept for the game..
Shuffle the game contains modified versions of the storylines in the series, sometimes even less material.
You'd need to get the sequel, Tick! Tack for more story. I think it assumes a different ending from the series though.
The offical site is here.
Well, it was a nice and good ending, even if it ended a couple of episode short.
I have to say, though, that I saw what was coming when the paper knife was shown for the first time. That whole scene was made very well, certainly. Although doesn't the manual say: cut along, not across..?
My particular favorite of those variations:
Down the tracks, not across the street
There was an awful lot of blood for a simple cross cut, though he pressed pretty hard, so that could be it.
Those you can usually stop with a towel or a quick tourniquet. That why the saying above exists. Without significant medical attention, you can't stop the lengthwise cuts.
Either way, Asa was panicked enough that she couldn't have stopped in anyway, especially in the weakened state she was in.
More confusing were the scenes during the credits. Particularly the one with Kaede and Evil Sia. I'm not entirely sure what was going on there, but...yeah...
The scene where Ama was cutting Asa's hair back to its original length was nice though.
