Naruto, Sakura and the gang will be sitting around, chilling out, getting their kicks or whatever, and Sasuke will just wander in.

Well, maybe if they screw up the dub we might be seeing something similar to that.

I think he will return if by force. I don't think Sasuke is meant to be a bad guy. He just wants enough power to beat the living hell outta Itachi for killing the clan.
