Is rolling up controllers bad for the ps2? Because my sister is yelling at me that if you roll up the controller that it's bad. I think it does nothing, but she's fuckign stubborn and I am too.

roll up?? like in winding the cord around the controller????, well its DEFINITLY bad if you dont leave significant space between the cord that connects with the pad if you do, cause if you do it too tight, the wiring gets bend and eventually destroyed

its not bad unless your a moron and wrap it so eventually the rubber insulator breaks and all your wires come flying out (witnessed this once and it was acctually mad funny)

I find the trigger buttons the easist to be spoilt. Especially L2 or R2.

I never rolled my controllers but for some reason during Madden 05 my controller rumbled out of nowhere and then stopped responding. Figured it was ok since I had it for 4 years, bought a replacement and the same thing happened. Now I'm wireless with the rumble feature off for good measures.

I roll up my controllers from time to time. The only thing thats happened to me is the R2 button got kind of stuck. I dont think its broken because if I press it hard, it still works. I think its wearing out I guess but I dunno if rolling up controllers caused that.

It all depends on how tight you roll it up. Just do it loosely and it should be fine.
