Alright, they stuck one, shitty filler in. That's to be expected. It was garbage but I was glad that it was over so I could get on with the rest of story.

Let's take a decent character from the first episode that has filled his purpose and bring him back, ruining whatever value he had, so Naruto can get angry!! Grr!! But, to keep it up-to-date and to connect it with where the series is right now, we'll throw Orochimaru's name in there. Gold. Ok, now for the setting. Hmm. Well, it could only make sense that we hold it in a NINJA PRISON because it would be a silly idea to assume that renegade, murdering, psychotic ninja are executed. But wait! Aren't ninja are trained to use deception and distractions to their advantage and to become invisible, making it seem futile to lock hundreds of them up in a prison where you'd assume they'd easily escape?!
