Streaming Video with VLC

I went through the instructions on the VLC website, I still could not get it to work. I was trying to do a UPD Unicast, I typed in the client's I.P. adress, seit it to go through a certain port, then I told the person whom I was streaming to go File-->Open Network Stream --> On the open I told them to put udp://@<My IP>:<Port>, we both have routers ... I had that port open, she didnt, but I thought i may have worked because she could conect to me ... -_- ... dont know what to do, any suggestions?

You sure? Make sure everything is typed in right and make sure she as the open port or it wont work. That happened to me once [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. Hope it works.


Edit: Also make sure you trust her. Or know her.
