Yup that's the idea.

does a .5mm lead pencil work? lol because i don't have a regular pencil
and for all you kira fans:

Dude you don't a need a pencil. All u need are your hands. Just put the stupid decal on your gundam and use your fingers to rub it or press on it hard for a minute of two
i think i'll do aznimperial's way, i'll try it tomorrow
does anyone know if these are prepainted when you buy them or do you have to paint them yourself?

It's being sold from Hong Kong.
9 times out of 10, it's a knock-off product.
Many times, if the product is sold directly out of Japan.
You'll get the real deal and the detail and quality would be far superior.
Waiting for my Astrays (Red and blue 2nd L) to get here... also ordered like 30 bucks worth of gundam markers. Now heres a little question, my METEOR model is already constructed but I plan on going over some parts with the markers. Among one of the parts, I want to actually paint on the decals. Any tips on how to do this? (The part I'm mainly concerned with is where it says Mobilesuit Embedded Tactical EnfORcer, I want to paint it on with the black marker.) And I just realized that I ordered 2 black fine point markers and forget to get a fat ended black marker so I guess I can be really exact with my coloring.
uhh..i don't understand the part where u want to paint over the decal
Umm...yea I was just Blah blah blah blahing... umm... check it, where the decal is right now, I want to remove it, and paint the exact same decal with the markers. so it can stay there permanently.
So...what your saying is that you want to paint your own decal???
yea basically......... but have it look exactly like the decals provided with the model....
Can you really make it look like excatly like the decal...would be ashame if u mess up
yea thats where the question comes in... any advice or ways to somehow basically duplicate the decals?
i would say no unless you got a machine which can make your own...just stick with the decal and don't screw up
You can always buy custom made or additional decals from online hobby stores. As for using the pencil it's just my way of ensuring I've got the entire decal covered.
