i would paint it before you start building it but it will take longer timeOriginally posted by: DraGunZer0
Forgive me for my ignorance, but what are scratch build gundams? I noticed that freedom is significantly different from my MG freedom and the head is just badass.
EDIT:: Also for the painters, which is the best time (or time you prefer) to paint your gundams? Before or after building them?
most ppl paint it before they build it. It makes things ezer
whoaaaaa.. look at this beaty.....
whoa man that looks nice!! too bad it's 1/60, if it was 1/100 MG i'd definitely buy it!

1/60 is just like 1/100 just bigger and it don't have extra details and stuff
flashy anyone no what makes it glow? or does it just glow in the dark
No, 1/60 propotion is much accurate and nicer. But probably it doesn't move and pose as good as MG/PG...Originally posted by: aznimperial

yea
1/60's are too big IMO... takes up too much space... but yea that is pretty nice.
Normal 1/60 true, but PGs are worth the space.Originally posted by: DraGunZer0

i totally agree with you, that is one reason why i don't buy 1/60 gundams, like i wanted to buy a PG wing gundam zero custom but then it dawned on me that they're hecka big and i didn't like that so i bought a MG of it insteadOriginally posted by: DraGunZer0

This looks pretty cool too.

btw, can someone give me a step-by-step intructions on how to put on dry decals starting from them being on the paper thing, not something like "rub them on" and that's it, i need more thorough information please
Ovan, The Rebirth
How I usually do it:
1. Cut out the decal so that it would fit nicely on the plastic piece.
2. Secure it so it does not move around, with either modelling tape or if I'm lazy just hold it down tight.
3. I use a pencil to rub the decal onto the plastic. Preferably a dark 2B pencil so you can see the parts you've already went through and not miss and part of the decal.
May not be the best way to do it but no problems for me : )

thanks psyke, you use the yellow part of the pencil to rub right?
Ovan, The Rebirth
The way I read it was that you want to write on the plastic so you can see that you have rubbed the whole thing.Originally posted by: AtHRunOwNZaLL
