I would pick Heero Yuy. Because, well, just look at the guy. He is emotionless. The guy's a stonewall. And he has the funniest clothes of any gundam pilot.

Favorite is Kira out of all the Gundam i have watched but Heero, and athrun are close second
I don't know how you guys think about going out and saying a guy is hot. That might be a bit on the level of gay. But every guy sometimes might see a guy and go, "damn, he's way better looking than me"

yea remember now, the coolest characters in that show were easily witz, roybea and the kid mechanic. the rest were quite forgetable and the main character sucked.
I really liked Seabook Arno from F91, he was cool.
I don't think that the Gundam X main char sucked, Garrod Ran was in fact one of my favorite main chars as he wasn't angsty at all but instead rather cheery and straight-forward (except when it came to his feelings for Tifa). He was some fresh air IMO.
Garrod was another one of the "accidental" pilots in the Gundam universe. How many are there altogether again? From what I remember there's Amuro, Judo (ZZ), Uso (V) Kira, Garrod (X).
I thought Gundam X was better than Gundam Wing, but sadly the series was cut short due to low ratings.
