They're pretty good. Though I was beginning to prefer the A-E/Conclave subs, a lot of my earlier eps of Trinity Blood were the mahou versions. They're not the fastest group around, but they do high quality subs.

Their translations are pretty decent...not as good as AE-Conclave though, which is to be expected. They have some weird spellings of certain words (spell "crusnik," which is official spelling, as "krsnik" for example) and they don't have AE-Conclave's detailed descriptions/background info on certain terms. Well, at least a group is continuing
ep 10 was awesome; I think I'll just leave it at that until more people can watch the ep.

Roko, you certainly don't know what you are talking about when you say that crusnik is the official spelling...
Krsnik or Kresnik is what is really meant, and if we are going by how the Japanese pronounce this Slovenian word, then i would say the closest would be Krusnik instead of crusnik...
So I guess Sword Dancer just confirmed Noeille's death :-(. Then again I'd expect him to bring her body back which he didn't so she can still be alive I hope.

ok well i've seen the first 3 eps i'm just wondering how is the series after 10 eps is it any good or just avarage or just plain bad? that's all i want to know before i continue
I've only watched the first episode so far, but with all the crap that is comming out this summer, I think it's safe to continue this series...

if it was too eps ago, I would have said, average to bad...
but with eps 9 and 10, this series gets good again! very good actually! (just think that eps 6 and 7 have nothing to do with teh story...well for now)

ugh Abel irks me so much. This series has been a real disappointment so far. Way too similar to Trigun. And Abel doesn't even manage to pull off the good-guy-cannot-kill part the way Vash manages to do it. He's just a super weakling that cries too easily and gives up when something bad happens. BAH.

Well... Basically my take on it is that Earth has been invaded by aliens (the vampires) who are now living with the remaining humans. The resistance to the invasion (for some unexplained reason) is centered around the Catholic chuch. There are different factions among the vampires, some which want peaceful coexistance, some which want death to all humans. We're supposed to be cheering for Abel who is on the peaceful side (and has a tragic past which they will their sweet time to reveal). Abel will end up saving humanity, or something. But yeah, this isn't the best series. Not organized too well, kind of vague with the background story. Entertaining enough, but no great work. I'll probably keep following it, just for the heck of it, but if you're looking for something else try Tide Line Blue or Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid.
I've always felt that with this anime we were going to have to wait till deep in the episode count to learn what is truly driving Abel, sort of like Trigun and Cowboy Bebop. However, the potential for a great story is here, the books are very well received, and that's really the only reason I'll keep watching this show: the immense source of material it can draw from. But with the recent arrival of krusnick # zero-one, I'd say we should expect some sort of peak into the past.

and i have been watching tide-line blue and FMP:tsr. both really good already. that's pretty good considering the first fmp took a few eps to show signs of a story, but that's for another thread [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
it was pretty obvious once Von guy said "its nice to meet you Krusnik 02"(I was thinking "what theres a 01") and I guess there is.
but in episode ten, why did Tres have to do that stupid pose, it was pointless. Also, Sword Dancer is by far the coolest out of all of them, and plus he doesnt talk much so thats a plus(i guess)

This has been bothering me for a long time: at the end of the ED, we see Esther crying and a gravestone with Abel's name on it. Is this going to be one of those series where the main char dies...?
