Although if that was your least favorite anime than you've probably been spared some of the real stinkers! The music for those shows rocked and even the English VAs did well.
Ok, .hack//twilight was creepy incestual weirdness... at least as far as I got.

I've only watched .hack//sign, thought it was a decent story with boring action scenes.. how do the others in the series tie into this one?

.hack/sign was all game world, weird crazy crap. The OVA's that came with the games were all real world (at least as far as i got) trying to get someone stuck in the game out, twilight bracelet was supposed to be the video games, but it was somewhat loosely based on the games. I did enjoy some of the games, but then it kinda panned out and there was better stuff to play.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Truly horrible anime: Mahou Sensi Negima. What a god awful adaptation of a great manga. The animation is horrible, even after another prodco started helping them, the story is even more out of order (at lease Love Hina just cut stuff out, the order was right). About the only good thing about it was the seiyuu, who do a good job and are well cast.

Same goes for Ichigo 100%. Basically the same problems, excepting the animation, which is better, but still not on par with the manga. Though they mess around with the order and cut things out BIG time in Ichigo.

Both of these series were great mangas, but were ruined when they became anime. If you actually like any of these, read the mangas instead. You have no idea what you're missing.

Prepare to make a horrifying trip back time as I say some of the most craptastic animes ive seen in my childhood...

Doraemon: Some sort of a...something dressed in a blue ninja outfit pulling gizmos out of his crotch and gives it to kids.

Mojacko: An orange fuzzball that again hangs around with children and takes them to weird and extremely far places for me to mention.

Cooking Master Boy: Need I say more?

Grander Musashi: An odd anime about fishing...dont even ask.

Fighting Food ons: Too weird to mention.

Boys Be: some shit about highschool life and teens with big bossoms.

and one of my most hated animes of all time......


Fushigi Yugi: Two high schoolgirls gets trapped in a fictional book...bah...I cant explain this crap anymore...this series just irks me everytime I think of it.

EDIT: Ok..ok..Sorry about the Cat's Eye..it was good...well for most parts of it. but I still hate Fushigi Yugi...considering they friggin overwhelmed the whole "tragic" part and practically killed almost every character. And do not....I mean DO NOT make say something about that stupid girl. Heck she's much more retarded than naruto on crack. Anyways...sorry, I just got off from a double shift...so there. Also Saint Seiya sucked...=p

hmm...tons more of things to say here it seems. Astro boy didnt suck...come on, who doesnt love a flying robot on short shorts with a machine gun sticking out of his ass? well besides Mj probably and Oro. So there..

How can you possibly hate Cat's Eye? It's one the best series to come out the 80's. Sure the animation is sun-par now, but for its time it was unbelievable. The whole series was drawn by hand!! And the motions are more realistic than a lot of the computer aided animation now. Back then, the story was original too.

It's a classic, I can't believe you think its bad.

I can't even see how your description gives any reason to think of it negatively. Other than maybe old, but old anime is fine (unless you're relatively new to anime and then probably can't stand the 'poor' quality by today's standards).

I've seen a lot of bad anime and Fushigi Yugi is not even close to one of them. Go watch Kokoro Library now thats horrible.

Richard Hayworth is Canadian?? 0.o. in any case, after 92 episodes, he kinda grew on me. ;p, although his jap VA, (forget her name - it's mayo something) is undisputably better - one of my favorite VAs in fact.

And a note on digimon (sorry): I think for a kid's show like Pokemon and Yugioh, it really had a lot of complexity to it. Much more emotion than the usual "gotta catch em all" or "gotta win this tournament", and the characters (at least for the first season) were really fleshed out. It's more like your typical anime series than other shows it's compared to I think. I'd say It's what got me into anime.

As for the topic, I think my list would include Sakura Wars (fell asleep trying to give a shit, honestly), Mahou Sensei Negima (even the OP pisses me off), and Reign the Conqueror.
Special Mention: Most anime by BeeTrain make me drowsy. It takes 10 minutes for anything to happen, then, when something does happen, it's a closeup of the character's eyes while they say, like, 1 line. The music is good, but so hypnotic it makes me unfocused. I don't think many of these shows are BAD (.hack is a favorite of mine), just that they quickly bore me.

Indeed. I was totally like "OMG!!!111! Shinsengumi kick so much ass!!1! OMGG!!" After seeing Saito in Kenshin. But I was so disappointed in Shura that I'm afraid to watch any other show about them ever again...

How the hell did that guy smoke cigarettes all the time and still go buck-wild with a sword like that? & he would kill his opponents, unlike the rest of the peacelovers...

Inuyasha - I like the characters and story, but newer villains just keep coming and action scenes are always the same, became predictable so i gave up watching like around ep 130

Prince of Tennis - DBZ style pacing x__x takes 5 episodes to win a point

Full Metal Alchemist - its a decent show, i like everything about it, except that kid in the armour voice,, daaamnn his voice is annoying

Yeah, PlantES was an awesome series, i can see how some people might be put off by it at the beginning, but it develops into an excellent series
