worst ive seen is probably hack sign, i dont know how so many people think its good. its just so dull and fucking boring! stopped watching after about 12 eps, and i only struggled that far in the hope that it would pick up. it really was poor

I personally have to back him up on this. Just because you don't approve of homosexual behavior and don't want to see it doesn't mean you are afraid of it in any way. I think its disgusting and I have absolutely no interest in seeing it. That goes for guy on guy and girl on girl. If you want to see it fine thats completely your choice to make, however I'm free to think that it can ruin a otherwise perfectly good anime. I for one completely gave up on Samarai Shamploo due to the episode about the redheaded swedish guy comming to Japan because it was "The land of Anal sex". I honestly didn't think there was ANY reason for it and I personally was greatly offended by it expecially when they were showing off the picture book.
Berserk.... i watched the first 16 episodes i think it might have been 12 (or some other multiple of 4, i borrowed the dvds from a friend) and that was the biggest waste of my time ever, the animation sucked plot was boring and i didnt like any of the chars.
i think it was called blue genisis or something like that, it totally SUCKED ASS. inuyasha wasnt that great either....and i really hated...ooo what as that show... crap!!! it had the guy, his name started with a t....it was on CN for a while, there was T something 1,2 and 3 i think. Tenshi or something?

E.Y.E.S. of Mars (or something like that) was another god awful movie I saw a long time ago. How many freaking ways can you rehash the "brilliant civilization destroys itself and becomes Atlantis (obviously to destroy itself again)" plot?

If your picking either Berserk or Tenchi Muyo you have obviously never seen a bad anime.
I'd like to give a special mention to Mouse anime...
while it's not nearly the worst anime i've seen (as you've seen in previous pages, i've watched a fair share of crap), it's defintally one of the more annoying, they took a rather intresting story (everybody loves phantom thives stories!) and turned it into utter crap with flashed out ecchi scenes...
seriously, the hero had three side assistants, each with her own 30 pounds of meat on the cheast , and all three kept boggelling (note; i'm quite sure this isn't a real word) thier tits around the episode, taking all the screen time away from what could be at least a medicore action/comedy anime... and then they wasted half of the show on flashbacks which were supposed to show how the three nymphomaniac girls become the hero's sex slaves...
anyway, it was crap, i still watched it cuz it was up for http download, the only intersting point of the story was that one of the girls had a rape fantasy, which is something you don't usually see in animes...
oh, TruthofMistake, you might want to download any of the series mentioned in the thread, it'll give you a little idea on about how bad a show can get. Really, dissin' berserk and tenchi as the worst? that'd like saying your life is over becuase you missed an episode of naruto.. you've got to get yourself some standarts...

Actually, if you dislike Berserk, you -aren't- entitled to your own opinion. In fact, it's illegal!
Anime I've hated but don't remeber enough to elaborate:
- Fist of the North Star (does this count as Anime? I can't remember...)
- Project A-KO (little girl jumping on missiles... it seemed rediculous at the time)
Anime I hate and remeber why:
- Tek<u>NO</u>man (Fucking Translators need their brains checked, took out all the best bits.)
- Goku: Private Eye/Detective (Told the badguys his weakness a billion and one times, but they never clued in?)
Anime people seem to hate, but I like:
- Dragonball/Z (the first two 'sagas' were good, but GT was pure crap.)
- Pokemon (I acctually enjoy the occasional episode, though I can't stand more than 3 in a row.)
- Beyblade (I don't think it's the greatest anime out there, but it's the one that makes me laugh the most.)
- Kyou Kara Mou (How can people hate this?)
How can you not like Fist of the north star?
The movie was awsome enough to keep me shouting 'omoi wa mo shindeyru' for a week, and then the OVA's kept me screaming that for another one, and by the time i've watched the series itself, i was going 'nana no kizuko otaku' for a month...
how can you hate it? it's got 'no bulshit' wrriten all over it!

Well, I remember Project A-ko, and yeah, its pretty stupid, basically an excuse for fanservice, but hey, it was 80's anime.
I enjoyed it for its total lack of depth, it was a rediculous anime with healthy doses of humor, fanservice and violence. You may not remember it, but I'll sum up just about all of it. (And yes, the names ARE that stupid) B-ko, jealous of A-ko for some stupid reason (popularity, strength, C-ko likes her more, something stupid like that) straps herself into some incredibly skimpy "Battle Suit" (but can you really call it that when its goggles, boots, gloves and a bikini?) They fight A-ko's winning, C-ko cries, eventually gets kidnapped, the two girls (A-ko and B-ko) blow up some alien battleship and save C-ko.
Sure its stupid, but some times the dumb stuff is good for a laugh (or after you watched Eva and really depressed).

Shaman King. Don't get me wrong, the manga is great, but they MURDERED the series. Then of course, 4Kids turned it into a bigger abomination.
Wolf's Rain. Music's great, and the animation is nice, but that's it. Too bad the series needed a real plot. And before I forget, four clip shows in a Row!!!
Dirty Pair Flash. I've never seen the originals from the 80's, but I hated this series after watching just one eps. I can't really give a decent reason though.
