Ninja Robots

"Ninja Senshi Tobikage tells the story of a boy named Joe Maya. One day, Joe, who lives on Mars, witnesses a battle between aliens. Those from Planet Zaboom are attacking the princess of Planet Radorio, she has escaped from the emperor of Zaboom who is scheming to conquer the universe and has crash landed on mars. Joe stumbles aboard the princesses ship, this starts a chain reaction of events that will alter their lives. Joe and his friends wield three powerful mecha beasts against the emperor of Zaboom and his forces, but the odds are stacked heavily against them.
When all hope seems to be lost a mysterious ninja robot named Tobikage appears as if from nowhere to provide assitance, able to combine with the 3 mechanical beasts provides Tobikage with unmatched power, with his aide Joe fights the forces of Zaboom... but where did Tobikage come from? and who controls him?"

I don't know if it's the worst, but the only anime that i only saw one episode off and couldnt watch any more of it was Goddanar

Yes Godannar started off as a very lame show trying to use fan service to win viewers' hearts. However, give it enough time and the story gets more interesting. It's not as bad as what some of you guys think......

I think the worst anime is Dragonball GT. It completely ruined DBZ and especially DB

Yeah, GT never should have been made. It was like someone took toriyama's aborted fetus of an idea for a db series and thought extra fireballs and even goofier costume changes and power ups would make it more palitable. Ugh.

Macross 7 is another good example of a series that never should have been made. Pure corporate marketing music cd selling comercialism.

I don't think it is the worse, but I could not make it through Azumanga Dioh for some reason. Got really boring for me after while, only watched like ten eps then I had to quit becasue there was better things to watch. Think of it now I would have to say that DBZ is the wors because of the whole constapation thing....om i mean the whole powering up thing and the fact that i could miss a whole week of the series and it would still be at the same fight. I do like DBZ but the paceing of it makes it a chore to watch.

Yugo the Negotiator i found it to be the most boring garbage ive ever seen all he does is talk crap and arn't the hostages the ones who are supposed to suffer from stockholm syndrom not the negotiator

DBGT features pretty high up my list dragon ball should have stopped with gokus death/100th..ish death at the end of the cellgames saga

I personally have to back him up on this. Just because you don't approve of homosexual behavior and don't want to see it doesn't mean you are afraid of it in any way. I think its disgusting and I have absolutely no interest in seeing it. That goes for guy on guy and girl on girl. If you want to see it fine thats completely your choice to make, however I'm free to think that it can ruin a otherwise perfectly good anime. I for one completely gave up on Samarai Shamploo due to the episode about the redheaded swedish guy comming to Japan because it was "The land of Anal sex". I honestly didn't think there was ANY reason for it and I personally was greatly offended by it expecially when they were showing off the picture book.

Samurai 7, WORST Abomination of Kurosawa's masterpiece I've ever seen. After the first 2 eps, I was so disgusted I deleted the eps and watched the 4 hour original again. Then I washed my computer in various caustic cleaners just to get the stink out.

I've never watched the original movie by Kurosawa Akira, so I can't make comparisons. But I do know that the anime is not supposed to be based entirely on the film, it only borrows its ideas such as a person finding 7 samurais to battle bandits who are demanding rice from farmers. Again, I thought this anime was pretty good and does not deserve to be called the worst anime ever..... Pretty sure there are animes which are much much worse than some of the titles mentioned in this thread.

I suppose it wouldn't be as bad if you never saw the original, but if you did...you'd know.

Another one I thought was particularly bad, probably not as bad as some of the others now, but I hated Now and Then, Here and There. 13 eps of material that could've easily fit into 6, some of the most boring characters I've ever watched and 3 or four eps of NOTHING HAPPENING AT ALL. Some people like it, but that is the one of the worst anime I've ever finished.

Char's Revenge is pretty awful.
Pilot Candidate was notably bad as well.

Can't think of any more now, but I'm sure I'll come up with something.

Mobile shinsengumi OVA - female versions of the shinsengumi elite (okita, hijikata and Kondo) use magic sword and cars to battle a 4th bitch and her loser two sidekicks.
Guardian Hearts OVA - Throw in every magical firl style of anime you've ever seen, and remove any aspect of it other than the fan-serivce shit.
Firestorm - it's like someone took the old J.I.Joe cartoon and made it into a bigger piece of crap.
Blame! - I Haven't read the manga yet (not all of it) but the anime was just a few frames of people walking with crates from one spot to another.
