The worst one I downloaded and actually intended to watch was probably an oav called I Wish You Were Here...it wasn't that bad but it was boring as hell. Some series I started watching for the first ep or two but never really gave a chance cos they bored me were Read Or Die TV (I liked the OAV), Ninja Scroll TV and Final Fantasy Unlimited.

Read or Die gets much better around episode 10... you should've stuck with it...

Piano was absolutely awful. I watched the whole thing since I downloded it in a batch torrent. I kept hoping something interesting would actually occur to redeem the time I spent on that worthless series, but NOTHING EVER HAPPENED! AHH!
i ahve to say dbz cuase mainly goku the only one that could ever win teh fights and took way to long to power up. miss a week and you jsut be at teh fight that take one fo 2 moves and it be over. everyone else was jsut there to get beaten up or kill time while goku was on hsi way and dbz gt make me wish i was dead.

wow, i can't believe i forgot 3 animes from my list.
1. Sol Bianca: it's like taking the regular dungeon crawling story and making it happen in space, and doing everything in a shitty way and going from anti climax to anti climax. it had a girl named 'Male' which they found during their travels at some anciet space ruins, and not only was Male really a girl, she was actually a normal girl with no hidden abilities whatsoever... what a let down! other than that, they had an episode where they travelled into some planet, used a computer to open up a 3D hologrum with pyshical presence, which then told them about a woman who once lived there, but was betrayed her husband, the evil haxx-er, and now her memory invaded the computer system and she wishes to be redeemed. At the end, they all get PMS and start shouting at each other for being too happy and not angst ridden.
2. Avenger: there are 3 cool things in this anime, the name, the kenshin look of the main charecter and the music. other than those 3, everything else was shit. it started out as a normal bee train anime, with a silent woman with a serious lack of perssonality, and some annoying boy/girl with her. and then, as the plot unfolded, it was made clear that there isn't any real plot, the woman just wanted to kill some ass, and the wasted 13 eps on her getting to him and then killing him, the reason was basically unknown, and while there were some clues as to why, it was to boring to connect the obvious dots from 'bad guy killed her family' to 'bad guy becomes hero' and then to 'she goes to train' and finally 'she starts her revenge against bad bolding guy'. A complete waste of time, no plot twists and too much time spent on close ups of the charecters eyes.
3. Sonic underground: now this was a piece of shit, best thing was the voice actor of the wolf, who was the same guy who did Kith in futurama (watched this one in english), i was managing to forget it till I watched spongebob today, and there was a part there which reminded me of this piece of crap... basically, there are three sonics, who were abandonded as babies becuase the dude was going to kill them, and they grew up to be a 'rebllious' rock band who sings about love and friendship and trust, and when they play music, they shoot beams of power which can cure good guys and attack bad guys, until they run out of blasting energy and they have to stop playing, and then they recharge by playing the exact same song they used to blast earlier. basically, after watching this, Sonic lost his coolness for a long, long time.

Anything with the words "demon beast" in the title. Horf. Not even good in a pr0n way, just plain bad.
And I'm as much a fan of art house works as anyone, but I thought "Angels Egg" was just pure over hyped surealist bullshit. No plot, just lots of boring and over-symbolic randomly animated pieces of dreck sewn together to give stoned movie critics something to try and interprit as "art".

Psychic Academy was an anime that seemed like it was trying to be hentai without going into that category. Because of that any kind of story played on the back end. BOO!
Hands down Kodoma Library (this title could be slightly off) This was litterally a anime about being a librarian in a town where nothing happed. No this isn't a tale about a town where something was about to happen in fact the episode I saw was about someone who forgot to return a book so the want to be Librarian attempts to tract them down and fails only to have the book mailed back. I will double check the title but I'm sorry nothing even comes close.
Avenger was a waste of my time, I rather do school work. I watched all 13 episodes, and hoping there was going to be some good ending that tied everything together. Oh how i was disappointed. The ending was the worst thing about this series. I cant even bring myself to look at it again.

The Slam Dunk manga is really nice, but the animation was just terrible, which is such a waste. Samurai 7 isn't really that bad. I actually watched the movie before watching the anime, and true, lots of stuff were changed. But I guess all adaptations leave some room for imagination and creativity (if not, what's the point of doing an adaptation at all?) and it's not that bad really.

Well I never made it through Noir. The opening few episodes were pretty good but it got slow and boring and I fell asleep halfway. It didn't help that the subtitles were horrible and off-timed. But I don't think it deserves the title of worst anime ever.... probably Dragonball is the worst anime ever imho. I was forced to watch a few episodes of it last summer and it was pure pure pure torture.

now, Haku-san... Avengers was pure shit, i agree with you... early episode fights made it look promising... such a waste of series after that...
