That was the most epic thing I have ever witnessed.
I'm just worried at how many lives Alucard's throwing away like that. Sure he's got heaps, but still... More efficent use of the magic bullet and such would have made him much more powerful, but probably less awesome.Originally Posted by Lucifus

Alucard or Dracula devoured their body and souls, don't think their souls goes away that easily. Pretty awesome display of what Alucard is in his entirety and insight of how he views himself and "humans". He is not dead, because he is just that awesome and death or god can't claim him and well it is pretty much the end if he is so, he's not dead.
Sucks about Walter switching sides though (against his will or so it seems) He was one of the more likeable characters to Hellsing. He added charm, grace, maturity and even more insanity to the mix.
Looking forward to what happens next, hope it isn't a year before we get to see it though.

So i guess Seras' arm is just going to remain as it is? Not very aesthetic is it... I mean look at Alucard and the original Count Dracula within, they both look awesome and manly without looking like monsters ( most of the time anyway ); so if we ever get an epilogue and assuming she survives all this i hope she becomes this high class lady with long hair, white skin and long black dresses. Bitch needs more class to truly personify what a real vampire is all about.
As to Alucard's power... holy fuck! Talk about a one man army, though i wonder if it made him too vulnerable to handle the newly monstrified Anderson and his possy. The nail felt like an asspull though, would have welcomed some foreshadowing on it and i'm still not quite sure why it took him so long to use it when he was near death not long before the reinforcements arrived.
The CGI was a little too thick at times but overall this was pretty awesome, well worth the wait. So... how many years till the next one? And how many do we have left?
Well they still gotta take out Walter, that other guy, Shrödinger, Doc ( im sure he'll pull something out of his ass ) and the nazi Major. So a few more. Which I do not mind at all.
Apparently we still have around 30 chapters of material but only 2 more planned OVAs
I think Anderson had to get near Alucard and be desperate enough to use the nail. He seems to have gone berserk, and if he did that from afar, Alucard will have an easier time dealing with him.

Yeah, except that when he did it Alucard actually walked up to him to call him a idiot... i just can't buy that for an explanation, it honestly sounds like the writer wrote himself into a wall and added the crucifixion's nail right then and there
What do the thorn's represent anyway? Christ's crown of thorns?
There was no way for Anderson to know that Alucard was going to walk up to him after he transformed. Alucard could have reabsorbed all of the lives he released to make himself practically immortal again.

It was a last resort for Anderson, and like Alucard said, he's not a human anymore but a monster. So, even if he survived, he couldn't anymore go back to Vatican to live like he used to. I think it made perfect sense he postponed using it till the very last moment. Maybe he wasn't even going to use it before his unit arrived.
