RE: How powerful is Haku?
Actually i feel the same, haku isnt that high a level ninja.
His only extreme trick is to make some mirrors in which he has to trap the enemy before they are totally denied any chance in combat, if trapped in the mirrors... yes its game over if haku wants to kill someone.
yet a jounin level fighting 1 on 1 with haku wouldnt charge him head on and run into his jutsu, AND WOULD NOT STAND AND LOOK WHILE A JUTSU IS FORMING.... an experienced jounin (even chuunin) would retreat untill he had decided what the jutsu did, and still even if he couldnt he would not enter its perimeter... so haku could come to a deadlock with any jounin and chuunin by using his supreme technique... yet he cannot decide the match with it.
Haku is pretty much ordinary when he is fighting normally... he was beat by early genin sasuke and had to retreat to his ice mirrors... and naruto only unleashed as much power as he did with neji... so i would consider haku = neji like uchiha kakure here does.....
last remark and summary of it all "Haku is overestimated."
RE: How powerful is Haku?
Yep. Jounnin wouldn't be that stupid to stop and look at those pretty mirrors.
Plus, the Jounnin would strike as he's summoning them. Only way I see it for Haku to win, is to hide, then summon it on the Jounnin's trapping the Jounnin as he's taking a nap under the tree.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
one handed hand seals is badass.
RE: How powerful is Haku?

Actually, as long as there's water around Haku can make really good use of those mirrors. He doesn't have to make a circle around his opponent, and those mirrors give him speed about equal to instant transportation. After all, he popped up in front of Kakashi after he started to perform chidori (and Haku was kinda far away), meaning that Kakashi was going full speed (it's a requirement of the skill).
RE: How powerful is Haku?
I agree with Mr. X Doing seals with just one hand is cool considering that he is the only one so far who demonstrated this skill So, if anyone else could do one handed seals, I wonder if they can do two seals at a time

Yeah, too bad Haku wasn't using a mirror of any kind when he ran in front of Kakashi. That was his speed alone, not some trick. Perhaps he got a bit faster to protect someone important? *Never* seen that before.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
I'd say if he were to join the chunnin exam. He would be chunnin.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
Haku is good enough to beat the crap out of Naruto at this point.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
Everybody can beat the crap out of Naruto.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
lol yea, even that shitcunt sasuke beat him AND naruto was like super kyuubi
RE: How powerful is Haku?
Haku is stronger than Zabuza.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
Have you guys forgotten Haku has beaten at least 1 ANBU? How else did he get that mask?

I'm sure that mask isnt that hard to make. If he can create mirrors and jump using reflections, I'm sure he can make a mask.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
Uh, no. The Mirrors were merely a jutsu of his, that utilized water and ice, forming a circle of mirrors around his victims.
The mask is part of no jutsu.

But he goes to Trent university. So not very powerfull.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
I think Haku was average as far as abilities went, he was a good at coming up with strategies much like a very popular leaf ninja. Comparing him to any of the Genins who went on the mission from the recent arc and he's very weak, hell even Chouji would win fairly easily.
Also I don't see Haku as ever being equal to or surpassing Zabuza, who was a legendary ninja as both a child and an adult.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
Zabuza stated that Haku was better than him.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
i dont know why you guys say that zabuza was overestimating haku.....
after he made the statement about haku being stronger than himself, he elaborated more about how he taught haku everything he knew, while haku simultaneously strengthened his own bloodline skills.
Therefore you could say that zabuza + bloodline = haku
RE: How powerful is Haku?
Oh, and as a minor sidenote - Haku's Kekkei Genkai is his ability to use the Ice Mirror Jutsu, not his ability to do one-handed seals. That ability is never implied or stated to have anything to do with Haku's Kekkei Genkai and anyone saying that they are interrelated is talking out of his or her ass.

RE: How powerful is Haku?
Neji can perform Jyuuken thanks to the Byakugan.
There is never a link made between the one-handed seals and the ice jutsu (or ice jutsus). Haku had the ability to perform one-handed seals - AND to manipulate ice. Two seperate and distinct abilities.
RE: How powerful is Haku?
Maybe Zabuza said Haku was stronger because of his ice mirrors and the fact that nobody has ever escaped them, not because he's a better overall ninja. I agree, if it were Kakashi and Haku fighting instead, it would have been no contest, because I believe Kakashi is a much better overall ninja.
I think Zabuza was just referring to Haku's potential and his great ability for solo learning.
