ok so i saw these commercials advertizing the new pepsi edge and C2. they both claim to have half the carbs and half the sugar. what im wondering is, what is the point of DIET coke, and DIET pepsi now? is there no difference between them now?
and have you guys tried them yet? C2 is actually quite good.

The point of the diet soda is that they still have just 0 calories whereas C2 and Pepsi-whatever have half the calories.
pepsi edge is good, tastes just like regular
as long as you keep drinking tons of soda each day it doesnt matter how many colories it has, you're still gonna get fatter..

i had C2 in japan, fucking disgusting. tastes like bitter coke basically. thats about it
I have to agree with r3n, when I tried C2 it tasted gross and it did have a bitter taste. Needless to say, I won't be drinking it.
The point of diet cola is that some people prefer the taste. I know a lot of people say they taste horrible, but I actually prefer the taste of Diet Coke to regular Coke. Also, for those that are on the Atkin's Diet, which is the no carbs diet, C2 and such just don't cut it, whereas Diet Cola has 0 Carbs.
Its all a bunch of crap. Soda is for the weak. Drink Bawls BAWLS Guarana has 80mg of caffeine per 12 oz. One bottle of BAWLS Guarana (10oz.) has 120 calories. Thats a drink.

the whole point of drinking the 'diet' version of anything is stupid. all soft drinks will give the opposite effect of dieting if you drink it even if they are the diet version because they all have sugar in it. if you're gonna drinking any diet crap cuz you want to be on a diet, you might as well not drink it all.

they're just trying to take advantage of the latest trend to make some money. less colories, less fat, more sexier? i mean, i cant watch tv without seeing a commercial talking about low colories.

btw, tictacs are 1 and half caloreis. but the size got bigger didn't it? by 30% or something. so i suppose the calories also increased.

a while back i saw this paid program about losing weight. it said if you eat more, and exercise less, you will losing the weight you want to.
it seemed wierd.

as for losing weight, its really not that hard...u just need will power. back during highschool, when i was on the wrestling team, we would train hardcore for regionals, and i remember i would lose 5-6 pounds in just over a week.....ofcourse, soon as we weighed in, i would gain those 5-6 pounds back in about 3 hours [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]
