I'm behind on the manga so forgive me if parts of this have been done before.
For one reason or another Konoha is in grave danger. Remember how the 3rd hokkage was sealed with Oorchimaru's techniques? Only he can save the village so he uses a sound ninja and summons himself with Oorchimaru's zombie technique. After a few episodes his work is done and he takes his life (or unsummons himself) because he used a forbidden technique to reture to life and has no right to live.

Me thinks you should reread the manga again, i don't believe the third was sealed by Oro's techniques, much more, Oro's arms were sealed inside the 3rd before he died.
This doesn't look like it could work. First off, the Third is dead. Secondly, we only know that Oro is the one that can perform that summon dead jutsu. Finally, Oro does not have any arms to perform any jutsus right now, so even if someone used a sharingan to try to copy, they won't be able to.
If they ever tried something like this I'd track Kishimoto down and kick him in the knee.

Although this is an interesting thought experiment, the logic just doesn't work out. Think about what would happen if it was possible for dead people to summon themselves into the world of the living. Complete and utter chaos. Dead people would never stay dead. Orochimaru really would be immortal, and keep coming back no matter how many times they killed him. Even though this is a fun plot device for '80's zombie movies (which I love...yay Army of Darkness! ), I don't think it could ever work out for Naruto. Wow, that would be lame as hell.
The only way i can think of the 3rd coming back would be Oro summoning him, unrealing his arms from him and then kills the old man again.. that would still be lame, but at least a little better.
Bringing back a dead character is a very bad idea, for example it would mean they would have to kill all bad guys at once, otherwise they could just be summoned again.. and if the 3rd could be brought back, why not the 1st and 2nd? Or maybe the 4th? Actually, why not just summon the entire uchiha (spell?) clan?

Then Oro stabbed him with a sword and had a three hour conversation about it. Yeah, so....no comming back from the bowels (hahah funny pun!) of Hell.
Exactly. Even if Orochimaru or someone else used that technique, it wouldn't work because the 3rd's spirit is not available for summoning. It's devoured inside the death god.

but as people have said that its logic to say it was yondaime because he summoned shodaime, and nidaime...and logically yondaime, but this can be argued as yondaime is supposed to be in the belly of the death god...but once new light comes from this we will know...

Yeah! That would be so wicked! I'd have liked to see him do a demonstration of all the jutsus he knows.
Yeah, that would be cool. Maybe they can pull an Inuyasha and have Naruto and co. go back in time for a special or whatnot. Then they can participate in the past wars with other countries and see the Hokages fight. It could happen that way, and it would be a lot more acceptable than bringing the Hokage back at this point.
