Attitude Adjustment/Character Change Poll

Yay! My 100th. post. In celebration, I want to start this poll.

Concerning the Anime characters in Naruto, who do you think needs to change the most in personality or attitude to be more to your liking? And why? What changes do you think will make the character better? Who do you think will change the most? Just about anything that you would change or believe would change about a character is fair game, even his/her looks.

For example, there has been a lot talk about Sakura actually training to make herself better as a main complaint, or Sasuke curbing his vengeful attitude to become a better person. Who knows? You might think Lee in an outfit besides his green suit would be cool. What do you guys think?

I vote for Hinata. She is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too shy. I just don't think that anybody can be that shy, it's absolutely freaking ridiculous. Yeah, she may be a strong Genin (well, compared to others, considering her Advanced Bloodline), but her personality can be annoying at times. She's like the shy version of Sakura.

I agree with Kooshi. Hinata needs to change for the better, get stronger. She can still be shy, but she can't be like that when she's fighting. Sakura...I don't even want to like her anymore. To hell with her.

Edit: Oh, crap, I forgot about Naruto. He needs to get more serious and become more ninja like. That fight against Gaara was giant leap, but he needs four of those leaps. His personality doesn't need to change to the point he's not himself anymore, but...he needs to take a few pointers from Sasuke.

Naruto. He just needs to stop being such a stupid brat.

Hinata for the simple fact that she ruined the Hyuuga clan badassness. Hmmm I guess wanting to change a character completely doesn't count as a attitude adjustment so I'd vote Shikamaru to make him stop acting like me.

i would vote of itachi.. it's always good to see bad guy change for a better...

I voted for Shikamaru, mainly because he's in mt top five fav characters of naruto. He could be such a badass if he just wasn't F'n lazy....and a coward, but he's gotten better at that atleast.

Edit: If I had to vote for someone else it would deff be Sasuke. I like ALL of his jutsu but if he would stop being a dick I would like him so much more. The black instead of blue was a turn for the best though.

Some interesting comments so far, but limited talk back it seems. Please feel free to counter/discuss anything that I am about to say.

If I had to change a character, the one that I would change most is Neji. I know a lot of you out there love this guy, but sheesh, he is so arrogant and just a plain jerk. Yeah, he had a tough life, but that does not give him an excuse for hating Hinata, who did nothing to him directly besides exist. Also, it was because he was so arrogant and overconfident, he lost to Naruto in their fight. He underestimated Naruto and thought he knew everything, and that was why Naruto had the upper hand, with the help of Kyubi chakra. In the end, if he changed his attitude to someone who actually cares, he would be a much better character.

As for Hinata, yeah, she needs to get over her shyness and actually go talk to Naruto (I know she has done so in the past, but I mean on a more consistent basis). Once she does that, she won't appear to be like a stalker so much, and just be normal. She has a lot of potential with her byakugan, and eventually she might train and become one of the more powerful characters.

Sasuke = jerk

Sakura. Umm... Maybe I shouldn't go there. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] Maybe if she actually had some eyes that can actually see everyone else besides Sasuke, she would realize how much of a baka she is. Maybe then, she might be a likeable character.

Shikamaru, get off the couch and go on a date (preferably with a... better not go there).

Naruto, wear black. Actually, anything different would be fine.

Konohamaru, just disappear.

If Gai changed his haircut and acted less weird, he'd be a lot cooler.

Not that he isn't likeable as it is.


Though I agree that Neji and Sasuke really need a change the most.

Well, I know a lot of you guys like Jiriaya but....I think he needs to grow up a bit. He's such a wicked cool character when he's fighting, or being serious. The fact that he's a man-whore seriously lowers my opinion of him. Maybe I just feel this way because I'm a girl, but I'd like him a lot more if he wasn't always trying to get with every woman that crosses his path. Feel free to agree/disagree. I'm interested to know what other people think about this.

Naruto should get smarter. I mean how many enemies can you beat with a Kage Bushin charge??
Sure it kinda works.. The way it makes the enemy laugh and think he's pathetic.. But just try some new shit man.

Nah, he is just a typical old, single man. He's single for a reason... And that definitely adds character to him. I mean, if he wasn't, we wouldn't have our Ero-Sanin name anymore. Besides, he is not that aggressive towards women. He is only that way towards those that want it (paid escorts). Well, ok maybe when he is peaking, that's bad, but Naruto does also to learn his Sexy-no-Jutsu. No one ever says Naruto is a pervert...

lol, yes he's definitely single for a reason. I take your point that when a woman says no to him, he respects that and leaves her alone. But it unsettles me that he's so proud of the fact that he's a pervert (I think it unsettles Naruto too) and when Naruto did his Sexy no Jutsu for the first time, the way that Jiraiya reacted I was like, "ew ew ew....that is SO WRONG!"

i think its used so much because it was his worst skill, he failed acadmy(sp?) because of it. and now its like even tho its his worst skill he can use it in such a way that hes able to win because of it.

sakura needs to stop copying ppl.

I Think I'm the only one to vote Kabuto. Personally I think the guy sin amazing, glasses and a badass to boot. That aside though I think he would be better shown in a lone light, rather than an apparent lapdog (exageration) to Orochimaru.

Other chars I'd change would most likely be Lee (simple appearance). Neji, priorities priorities priorities.
Kakashi, the lazy eyelid thing annoys me to no end.
