hmm... i have to say tsukuyomi so far
i dont even think its an arguable thing. if it hits its game over. i dont think the seal tech is comparable as it costs both lives involved. the mangekyou sharingan on the other hand just destroys people.
I would have to say Tsukiyomi... one powerful jutsu
What?! Where is Konoha's secret technique, 1000 years of pain!
got a point.. i will add it right away
Gotta be one of the ones used in the hokage battle.
why is Kisame's sword on that....sword is pretty cheap
edt: and if that's the case might as well of added Zabuza's sword
hmm... but kisame's one could absorb the chakra...
i say, frog stomach. it made itachi run for this life.
solely based on the strength of the jutsu , i'd go for the sealing jutsu of the 4th
( not counting the cost of your own life, this poll is just about the strongest jutsu )
It has to be the undefeated Harem No Jutsu, it has taken down even the 3rd!
heh.. true.. but... don't think it can take down oro and itachi..
i wanna talk about what i chose but i'll be banned right away so i would say the 4th's sealing jutsu but you have to be very fast to grab your opponent
Neji's 64 hands, has nothing to do with me being a Neji fanboy of course.
lol.. I do think 64 hands is pretty strong... ^_^ especially like using that on on the second naruto gamecube game
heh.. yeah.. if one gets attacked with that.. no more chakra... V_V opponent woudl be in big trouble unless they have kyubi's healing power like naruto
yeah after you do 64 you can just toy with your opponent
Of the ones listed, I'd have to say rock lee's opening of the gates. Anyone who learns it can do it. Imagine if a jounin like kakashi did it. With over a thousand techniques at his command, I most certainly like to see what could be done. Of the ones not listed, I'd say Naruto's uh...expulsion of red chakra. You might say it's not a technique and that he's just wasting chakra, but the fact that it wraps around him instead of just pouring it gives it a technikee feeling to me. Anyway, I'd like to see it against rock's gate opening.
ill say itachi's amaterasu because jiraiya had to seal it, it seems like its a crazy technique so that gets my vote
Amaterasu
Me saying Neji's 64hands technique has nothing to do with me being a fanboy either, not only is it painful but it stop's you from using chakra for a period of time.
1000 years of pain
This is the one that Naruto will use to counter the power of ameterasu and tsukuyumi(from the behind).
Itachi's tsukuyomi
Itachi's amaterasu
What is each of these?
I personally think Oro's summoning of the dead is the most powerful. It basically killed the 3rd by forcing him to use the 4ths death god technique. As you can see I'm not up to speed on "official" names for stuff
amaterasu is the black flame technique revealed two eps ago. it hansnt even been fully shown yet.
tsukuyomi is itachis ability to take someone to his own plane of exsistance kind of. in this plane he contorls everything including time and space, in it he can inflict massive mental damage wich the body can be lead to believe is real, thus leading to real damage.
no no no. it cannot cause real damage. real MENTAL damage, but not real PHYSICAL damage. Quote:

i mean reaql damage as in it actually takes effect, not as in kakashi would start to bleed from evey hole in his body
heh... you guys are hilarious... ^_ ^ i hope they show some new jutsus... i especially want to see shika learn more... (like shika's dad technique... how did you guys like the ino, shika, chouji's dad technique?
In terms of sheer strength and power, Lee's gate-opening cannot be beat. But of course that power comes with the price of death...
only if they over do it
nope if you open all gates you die. end off. thats the way gai or kakashi explained it at least.
there is certain limit ppl have.. like rock lee can only open 4.. and Gai can prob open more
no i think rock lee is only able to open four not due to his abilities, but more like the way sasuke can only use chidori 3 times a day is it? as he matures he will get better as iam sure rock lee will.
yea.. they did say if you open all the gate you die.. but will be strong as hokage... but as long as you dont' over do it.. it's okay..
hmm i dont remeber that bit, have to go back an look!
yeah thought they said if you open all the gates would die but be very strong for that moment of time like hokage
I'll go with Rock Lee also.
Just imagine if a Hokage opened gates....... thats freaking crazy.
I do think that it be crazy if hokage could open the gates
now im wondering, why the 3rd didnt open gates instead of sealing them? Better results, same price =P
probably because he didn't know how to do it...to me seems only taijutsu specialists know how to do it
cause he didn't learn it from Gai sensei...
anyways, back to the topic........id have to say Itachi's Amaterasu is best so far. Have u ever seen black flames before?! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
V_V i can't edit or add polls anymore.. so.. don't ask me to add anything... looks like computer problem... @_@
but i dont think amaterasu is all about black flames i think there is still a lot more powerfull things that amaterasu can do
maybe....just have to wait and see about that
i dont believe that Gai and rock lee are the only ones who can open gates. i am currently away from my computer for the week, so i am not 100% sure.. but i seem to recall kakashi opening a gate when he was training to fight zabuza i think. anyone else remember this? he was climbing that rock wall with one hand and then he opened the first gate to make it to the top.. or maybe i'm being an idiot haha.. can anyone verify
okay, i don't ever remember Kakashi opening the gates...i don't think he can do that
no he didn't open gate.... i think he used chakra...
then why did kakashi say "kai" (release) and they showed the chakra circulatory system and his brain as if he was removing the 1st gate near his brain
nah... i mean chakra circulating means nothing.. that's what it's supposed to do.. i do not think he can open the gates.. then he would be stronger than gai.. but they rival each other.. remember?
They did more than show chakra circulating. The showed a point on his chakra circulation system dissapearing. It's location corresponded to that of the first gate as shown when Gai was explaining it to everyone. He copied the gate opening technique from Rock.
wel.. they would have said so.. if they did.. it prob is just a release of chakra
but i seem to recall kakashi opening a gate when he was training to fight zabuza i think. anyone else remember this? he was climbing that rock wall with one hand and then he opened the first gate to make it to the top..
Umm.. I believe you are being silly because 1.) Kakashi never climbed any rock wall during that whole Zubaza & Haku part (I don't think there was a rock wall around at all during those eps..) and 2.) He didn't open any gates to finish climbing... he just pushed himself real hard... u kno.. like when you ::insert toilet humor::
kakashi was climbing a rock when he was going to train sasuke and teach him chidori, that must be the part you are talking about
yeah, this was during the one month break or sometime before it, during the chuunin exam, can't remember which ep. As far as them having said something it about, they didn't say anything, but that scene was far too suggestive for me to leave it at chakra flowing. So was kakashi unveiling his eye to look at rock while he was opening the gates.
OKay... i do not think he can open the gate... i mean seriously.. THEY NEVER SAID IT... and if that is the case.. then i feel sorry for gai and rock lee.. that kakashi was able to copy their most powerful move...
V_V besides.. if kakshi was able to copy those stuffs.. why would gai and kakashi be rival? kakashi would be stronger than him..
besides.. it's stupid of kakashi if he opened to the gate just to climb a rock.. are you insulting kakashi?
to lift his weight completely into the air after climbing most of the mountain using one hand? i wouldnt question it
you guys act like unlocking gates is some incredible task for jounins to be able to perform, but if we hadnt seen ebisu perform kage bunshin, then you'd prolly say that it would be difficult to perform that jutsu for most jounins as well
what WOULD be insulting would be saying that some 2nd year genin like rock lee can perform something that a really skilled ninjutsu jounin cannot. kakashi knows all about the gates thing, so why wouldnt he know how to use it? now maybe he cant open 5 gates, but im sure opening 1 is no difficult task.
In that scene, kakashi said something to the effect that he wasn't as strong as he used to be. Then, you could see the struggling in his eye, right after that, you could his fingers slipping from the rocks. Right after that, he closed his eyes and the scene changed to show the chakra circulatory system with all of the gates (or should I say points). Zoomed into one of them (it was in his head where the brain would be) and the they showed it dissapear. Right after that, kakashi made the final climb. Not only did he make it, he made so easily that he pretty much propelled himself with that one arm he had nearly lost all strenght in. After hearing the description of what the opening of the first gate does (releases the limit the brain puts upon how much muscle power you can access) it seemed pretty clear that he opened the first gate. They didn't have to say anything because we had already gotten an explanation of it a few episodes earlier. Kind of like how they don't bother explaining how to mold chakra anymore.
Don't feel sorry for Rock and Gai, because I'd bet my last dollar that their bodies are far stronger than kakashi's, so they can probably make better use of the technique than kakashi can
Edit to Jesper:
I don't think he knew how to do it before he saw rock do it. There had to be a reason he unveiled his eye during the exam and I think it was to copy the technique. I don't think it was just to look and see inside, because I don't think the sharingan can do that, like the byakugan can. If his eye can't do that, and he already knows the technique, then there was no point at all. I'd like to think there was a point.
Episode 55, 13 min, 30 seconds, it shows kakshi climing a cliff and his foot support breaks and he is about to fall(his fingers are losing their grip), it goes to the chakara system focusing on the brain and Kakshi says Relase! then he throws him self up with one arm to the next spot.
I would say he released one gate, though I really doubt he copyed it because it isn't a technique(he didn't use hand seals as one hand was literally tied behind his back).
Hmmm since we are so intrigued about this I decided to go over the ep with that rock climbing scene (tookm e 10 mins to find.......) it was in EPISODE 55. And after viewing Lee's gate opening ep (49) fidning the quote "Secondary Lotus is a move that opens the first gate, the Open Gate... It unfastens the control of the brain, and enables a person to use his muscles at their limits." Although I was skeptic at first... It seems to be logical that Kakashi did open a gate to get that boost of energy and fling himself up with his middle and ring finger during episode 55 (yes there was a scene where it showed Kakashi's brain and then Kakashi says "Release".) So now I support the notion that Kakashi can open the gate! Bwhahahahahaha ..... ^_^v
::Edit:: Forgot to add that I also believe that Kakashi should have already known how to do the technique and he did not use his Sharingan during Lee's fight to copy it. Besides.. how many Juunin level battles have we seen thus far? From the point of the invasion and till Itachi we have seen Juunins own ass but it seems like their techniques are degraded compared to how they showed the characters do theri techniques during the Chuunin exam. Maybe we have yet to see a "true" juunin battle. I wanna see more hokage battles though! =/
okay okay then kakashi opened a gate
Bwhahahaha... thats right... kneel to my powers... ... god I really need to get a job... oh yea also i voted for Amaterasu just because they made it seem so powerful (strong enough to bust a frog belly! bwhahahaha) so yea power = pwnage, pwnage = me like

lol. Tired of arguing are you?

And to dragonzero: then why did he use the sharingan in the rock lee fight? because he did use it.
lol yes, because i didn't remember him opening at gate but you guys went back and checked, so yeah.. lol and dragun no, not going to bow down , you'd have to force me . either way, that argument solved
I dunno just too look cool and show off to Gai and make him remember the battles they had.
Kakashi - "Hey look Gai remember this o.O"
Gai - "NoooOooOoooo!!! Too hip!!!"
And on the serious side... I think Kakashi wanted to see how far Lee can push it... and to keep up with his movements maybe?
::Edit:: Oh also Kakashi may have low self-esteem... u know with that head guard always covering his eye.. maybe he's shy of that scar. So to give his self-esteem a little boost he might have wanted to see how far Lee could go just to say "Yea... I can beat that.. nice try genin."
To be able to see the movement imo, not to copy as nothing we have seen so far hints to him being able to copy something that you can't see especially when he isn't making eye contact(gates are inside and there is no technique to do it involving hand seals) Though he did use it like you said but I don't think to copy the gate opening ability.Quote:

Oh...that makes sense. Can't believe I didn't think of that. As far as I can tell, that doesn't discredit the possibility that he did copy the technique, but I just went from positive that he did, to not really knowing.
Eh... I'm getting kinda tired... atleast we can all agree on Kakashi opening gates IS a possibility... now lets go have a picnic with the rest of Akatsuki and the kidnapped Naruto bwahahahahaha........ ..... (-.-)
with ramen
I'll bring the froot loops
hahaha... but they are all in a mission... they are all too busy to go on a picnic...
I think everyone understands that Kakshi did open a gate but now the discussion moved to did he copy it from lee or not =P
WRONG! Their mission IS the picnic! Thats why they split up into teams
Team A: Bring Naruto along so he can have the childhood picnic he never had
Team B: Get Drinks
Team C: Get Food
Team D: Ask other murderous wanted nins to come along so they can have a break away from hiding and plotting to get revenge and murder someone, something, destroy some place, etc.
So Akatsuki isn't a bad organization. They just want peace, love, and undertsanding for all fellow nins.
And yes ramen and tie dye fruit loops would own.
don't forget the milk uchiha... and Jessper, I don't think Kakashi copied it..since i thought it was an internal thing...if he did copy it, then how did he @_@
edit: actually, better stop with the picnic stuff..someones going to come in mad if not
Not really, I just wanted an explanation of what else he could have possibly been doing with the sharingan out that wasn't simply a waste. The answer was obvious but I didn't see it for some reason. Either way, it's over now.
And Dragon says: "So Akatsuki isn't a bad organization. They just want peace, love, and undertsanding for all fellow nins."
I agree. That was some AWESOME peace and love shown to Sasuke. Also, Itachi's heart is so black that his fire can't even come normally. This brand of peace and love, we need more of it!
lol, good one uchiha...
oh yeah? then how come they spend money rather than getting money?? DraGunZer0
i would really like to see more amaterasu
Obviously man! Thats what i call hardcore brotherly love. Damn if I had a little brother like Sasuke I'd slap him around silly and give him warning threats and tell him to survive in an unsightly way so that one day he could kill me. Just show you how much you care for your little brother. ::Being serious now:: And who knows (unless you peeked into the manga), maybe Itachi's ultimate goal was to get Sasuke stronger than him... I dunno just a thought because he let Sasuke live for some reason and he did mess around with Sasuke (poke him on teh forehead and leave a lil mark.) So maybe Itachi does care for Sasuke... but he shows it in a strange way... just like little kids who don't know how to show their emotion example: Boy pushes girl to the ground and she lands in a puddle of mud, boy runs off yelling "I LIKE YOU!!!~~~"
::Edit:: They get their money from charity work. Thats another plus about Akatsuki, since they are all for love and peace and stuff they also do charity work. I believe one day they will all come to Konoha and rebuild the buildings that were destroyed during the invasion. As you can see, Orochimaru was kicked out of the group NOT because he feared Itachi (that was his lame excuse to show his badassness to umm...forgot his name purple clothes wearing glasses dude) but the real reason was because he could not care enough for people. He hurt people but it was not out of loving hurt, he just hated them. So he was banned from Akatsuki.
yea.. maybe that's why he beat hinm up real bad.. and used tsukuyomi on him
lol... really... what charity works do they do? =X.. just cannot imagine ITachi doing charity work (working with babies and such... )
EDit: then why did Itachi show him the hard past.. instead of loving past?
I think using Tsukuyomi is Itachi's way of showing respect for a fellow being. Like when Itachi used it on Kakashi. He didn't kill Kakashi but instead just messed him up psychologically. And when he did it on Sasuke, Itachi just wanted to remind Sasuke of how much he loved Sasuke by showing him the past and how he showed so much affection towards him and no one else.
if that's your theory dragun then what about kisame? huh? He always wants to cut up people with his sword, that's not charity
Kisame is also another odd fellow. He doesn't chop things up to see blood and kill people. It's his way of playing around... like tag... he just has a rough way of playing.
::Edit:: Why are you peopel so pessimistic about Akatsuki.. jeeze why can you look at the good side... N e wayz Akatsuki hope, pride, and friendship forever! and Amaterasu owns all!
Charity? I like their brand of charity too. The kind where you gladly donate money, given the alternative of death. Akatsuki, such humanitarians.
hmm back to the topic.. i don't think haku's attack was weak at all.. how come no one is voting for it..
and how did you guys think about chouji, Ino, shika's parent's techniques?
dragun, you make akatsuki sound like sailor moon group or something .. as for strong jutsu, i thought haku's was pretty strong and it was interesting to the chouji/ino/shika's parent's techniques.. just hope they learn those as well
I didn't vote for it because all you need to do to not get defeated by it is get out from the middle. I bet you can do it without even having to open 5 gates. But even so, why bother getting out when you can just pull a Naruto and pound the crap out of him. For a bloodline limit, it seemed pretty weak. Of the techniques you listed, it's not the weakest, but it seems to be one of the weaker ones.
I think Haku's attack was lame (although still neat, gotta love the bloodline limits) compared to the other line ups on the voting list..
And their parents... out of the Shika, Ino, Chouji trio I would probably have to go for Shikamaru's shadow thingy ability. So far it's the only technique out of the 3 that did something cool. Chouji's expand-in-size thing attack was too lame... and he was defeated too easily, his dad... it was dull. Ino's ability is ok.. but I wouldn't vote for it if there are other techniques to vote for, her dad's version is a little better. Shika would probably be the only technique that would be worth voting for.
::Edit:: Akatsuki = humanitarian sailor moon extreme-ists
but for haku.. that's not the only thing he can do.. because of his blood ability.. he can do seals with one hand... hmm.. i do agree that haku;'s attack is not the strongest,.. but i just found it surprising nobody votred for it
Are you sure it was because of his bloodline limit that he can do seals with only 1 hand? I'm wondering if higher ranked nins could do 1 handed seals...
hmmm... i m sure... that's like his special bloodline ability
lemme go check real quick...
::Edit:: Bah getting pretty tired.. and I saw the ep and Kakashi does state that he has never seen anyone do that before so I'll take your word for it
Although I can't prove it, it seemed like Itachi was doing one handed seals as well. When he was fighting kakashi, he was using one hand to distract him from the fact that he was performing a jutsu. I'm thinking he was using the other hand to form the seals.
I did read on a naruto information page that it was part of Haku's bloodline...so far i'm guessing it's true since i don't think we have seen anyone else that could do that Edit: except for maybe Itachi but that has been discussed and can't come up with an exact answer as to if he did or not
I agree with you, I don't think Kakshi copyed it from Lee I was just saying that most people probably agree that Kakshi opened a gate and now we were discussing if he copyed it or not.Quote:

yeah seems agreeable that he did open a gate
Kuchiyose no Jutsu and summon Gamabunta
Demonic Ice Mirrors? (if your stupid enough to get caught in it)
Tsukuyomi..
And Amaterasu is something like chidori (maybe a bit stronger and/or efficient) i bet chidori would have blasted a whole in that frog stomach too..
Hey, chidori does in fact cut through lighting (whatever the fuck that means). Too bad a simple side step completely and utterly defeats it.
the sharingan allows the person to guide the chidori regardless of attempts to counter it though
the only way a simple side step works is prolly when the person countering ALSO has a sharingan
Ya, thats why the Chidori works best for a Sharingan user like Assertn said, also to cut through lightning would take insane timing and some way to keep it from simply going through you and electrocuting you. It would be pretty hard me thinks...Quote:

EDIT: OT did the forums just change on everyone else? o.0
Alright, but since it's not a bloodline limit, it's weak for just about anyone without the byakugan or the sharingan. Because it is available to everyone, in general it is a weaker technique. Too much chakra for something so easily beat. Any strenght the chidori supposedly has I give to the power of the eye jutsus, not the chidori itself.
