advice for hair style

I've been having a hard time deciding what to do with my hair. Recently I've just been cutting it short, but it's pretty bland. I want to change it so it has more flair but I'm not really sure what to do. I'd rather not dye it because the dyes tend to stain my pillow case.

I was thinking about letting it grow out and then pulling it back into a short ponytail, like Kenshin in the OAV, like this.

But I'm wondering if this will be considered too gay or too otaku or what not. I'm asian so I think I could get away with it.

my hair is longish atm, and can get quite annoying to deal with. having short hair definately takes less effort.

yup, bleached and spiked up is the way to go...unless you have my type of hair...then the best you can do is just comb it back with some gel @_@ and even then it will look like crap

i need to see a pic of you to determine if you could have the kenshin hair but in most cases id say thats a "hell no" hair cut. im having a hard time deciding what to do with my hair to... got long hair to my shoulder now..

ur calling that a "short" ponytail? damn man... id consider this to be REALLY long.. anyways, as pervert-sennin jiraiya said, we gotta see a pic of you to determine the hair style that would fit you the most... but i would say go with the gel

yeah, I don't know what you look like but the Kenshin hair is definately gay, he only pulled it off because he's the Battousai. Just make your hairstyle however you want, it's mostly guys at this forum, get style tips from some girls elsewhere is what you should do

Well where I live right now it is dam hot. If you live in hot climate i suggest you shave it all. For three reasons:

1. Hassle free when going to school. No need to comb, gel, and put all that gunky stuff in it and it would look perfectly normal.
2. The season is really hot so you should shave it all off for some cool air going through your scalp.
3. If you are Asian you must have dark hair. I have dark hair and it absorbs the heat.

If your going for style I dunno it's really up to you to decide. I Dunno what type of styles you like and stuff.

shaving your head is my preferred style. but i did it during my high school years since i played football and having long, spiked, messy hair is just troublesome and annoying. it's really convinient and saves you a lot of time since you don't have to fix your hair in the morning (which means probably about 5-10 min of more sleep time!).

If you go to a salon and get your hair dyed it won't stain your pillow.

ehh well its a fade..in the back of ur head in the bottom it really shaved off then the more u go up the darker it gets..umm its a fade u go from almost bald....to ur normal hair state..its hard to explain..0_0

they just have to grow their hair long, then get a perm, and bingo, fro galore. my hair looks like a semi-fro when its a bit long...and i seriously hate it -_-. sorry if its a double post...stupid thing

With alot of work and concentration... Took me around 1/2 year to grow it. and it takes me a while just to fix it every morning lol cause asian hair is straight and its hard to do a fro wif strate hair

your lucky, i wish i had straight hair...its less of a hassle than mine. like...i have semi-curley hair so its a real pain and no real hair do looks good or atleast average on me. @_@

I don't think you'll be able to grow a fro if your not black, unless your Jewish. I've seen some Jew fros come out quite nicely.

Hey as i said earlier i got really nappy hair so i can grow a fro most of the time. largest fro i ever had though was only about 7 inches radius big. After that i was like ah screw it and went bald. but now im gonna regrow the fro again to do corn rows or dread locks. (in my school im known as "Jr pun" since my last name is pun and i got a fro.)

But yo takenoko HURRY UP AND GET UR PIC UP SO I CAN Make MAGIC HAPPEN TO UR HAIR
