Lloyd is a novice adventurer whose dream is to discover “true strength” in the capital he's always admired, despite growing up with neighbors who always considered him weak. He departs his hometown, which just so happens to be located right next to one of the most dangerous dungeons in the world. Lloyd may think of himself as powerless, but when he goes to the city that serves as the starter town for adventurers, the difference between him and everyone else couldn't be starker.

I have read a couple of volumes of the light novel for Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town (Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari), I think it sucks overall. That said, I think it could work very well as an anime, particularly if it can approximate something of what Konosuba brought while it plays up the adult aspect of the comedy instead of the more childish ones. Hopefully the action sequences are well animated.
First episode is out, will try it later.

"* Based on a comedic fantasy light novel series written by Satou Toshio and illustrated by Watanuki Nao.
Optimistic young Lloyd would like nothing more than to achieve his life's dream of becoming a soldier in the capital. Unfortunately, his neighbors and friends consider him the weakest boy in the village and are sure Lloyd will meet his doom the minute he sets out on his foolhardy journey. But no one realizes that by living near the most dangerous dungeon in the land, what the locals consider to be everyday annoyances would be apocalyptic for anybody else! And when Lloyd defies the townspeople and makes off for a starter town for adventurers, the rest of the kingdom is about to find out just how overpowered Lloyd really is!"

As the world turns, so another Isekai anime is birthed... This one, while not particularly ambitious, does have a... strange energy it its production. The soft (low budget if you're feeling unkind) animation style contrasts nicely with the punchlines of Lloyd not knowing how overpowered he is. It's easy to watch, and features your usual assortment of overdesigned (visually) female characters grouped up for fluffy adventure where tension is essentially theoretical at this point. I enjoyed the first batch of episodes far more than its closest cousin, texture wise - the smartphone isekai from a few years back.
