In the early episodes of naruto (14-19) there's this big fight between haku and sasuke&naruto. Also Zabuza nad kakashi, but they're fighting on a bridge aight?
So is there car's in this world or something else. What kind of bridge were they trying to build and later on was finished?
uhhh a normal bridge... to use it for transporting goods...walking or riding on it

There is modern technology in Naruto, Konoha has phone poles and on the bridge there was a crane... There lots of techology in the show, but then again why use cars when you can jump 7000 yards in a single bound.
Well the good old horse/donkey carts have to cross somehow, not to mention all the bikes and the people. Then again you also need an uncompleted bridge to stage a few episodes of Naruto over.
it's weird because they have a lot of modern stuff, so it could be possible that there are cars, so the bridge could've been used for that. who knows, but mostly walking or carting across would be my best guess.
Answer to this one? Okay? My answer is that there is modern technology, and its pretty darn obvious. They have video cameras aswell. I think question is answered. What kind of bridge are they trying to build? Well are you saying you have been watching zabuza saga without knowing what the hell its about? maybe you should watch it again. I just dont think he should be asking questions like this, especially in the Open Discussions... like this is things we should already know, and things that are supposed to put meaning in the storyline(e.g. bridge) and if hes missing the point of the whole saga, well I don't really know what to say. You should seriously watch that saga all over again, because it definitely isnt worth knowing about Naruto coming out of my mouth. Wouldn't watching or reading be more use rather than have me explain the whole story??? I don't like Naruto to be reduced to just a bunch of words. Naruto does have a lot of advanced technology, but in all of the manga (and what has been shown of the anime) transportation as always by foot. I don't think Kishimoto-sensei wanted to take that type of angle with Naruto, otherwise it would turn into something very unlike what we've seen. Think about it: cars would add a much greater modern feel, something very different from what Naruto really is.

good fact, cuz it just wouldnt seem right if naruto do missions with a narutomobile n stuff.

If you notice, Kishimoto-sensei (known for detail) carefully picked at what technology he wanted to appear, which are mostly spy-type gadgets (television, security cameras, radios). Cars, guns, and other gadgets that stand out are absent.

I've got a life to. I just watch naruto because i've nothing else to do. But you think of yourself as a god or something, why are you "guys" so damn angry of people (in this case) asking totally normal question and it ain't dumb, they could have car's as well... they got all kind of stuft, like cranes and such.. why not car's..?

Last I heard sensei was considered appropriate for any skilled professional, though it seems to get mostly used for teachers and doctors in what I've seen.

the ninjas don't use the cars, the poor retarded mortals (everyone else) do. Just like the bridge builder and all those other random guys.
......maybe the sixty years old genin needs cars too.

nah the car's too good for him. He should need a wheelchair soon enough.
The only motorized vehicle shown in any town or area of naruto was the Boat with an Outboard motor at the begining of the "Bridge" storyline.
Internal combustion engines exist - but they seem to be very small and rare..
Even the Kazekage arrived on a caravan of Oxen and not a motorcade...
the technologie is just like in trigun. they have advanced tools, yet they live very primitive. i like it better this way. who ever heard of a ninja driving a car http://www.gotwoot.net/forum/html/emoticons/blink.gif I haven't. and so far we have only seen a vilage full of ninja's (who dont drive cars) , a very poor country that cant afford cars
+ if it had cars and such, it would be like that naruto one-shot, where they replaced the ninja stuff with magic stickers. but the formula for naruto te be a succes was the cool ninja stuff. if they had sticked with the one-shot naruto would definately not be as succesfull as it is now.
I'm Still hoping Naruto turns out to actually BE a Kitsune like he was in the Pilot though - or at least a half breed..
