Every time you start referring to forms of energy attacks as 'pure' energy (or any kind of energy that ends with energy - fire energy, light energy, courage energy, darkness energy), things turn out to be crap. energy barriers is probably the stupidest thing that happened in naruto (other than the other stupid things).
whats extra bad: some people will now praise Kishimoto for wisely introducing energy barriers back then during the Orochimaru vs. Sarutobi-battle. Yeah, as if...lol

Nag nag, I loved Bee in this chapter. Supposed to protect him but would rather help him out to the battlefield! A mangareaders best friend.
Maybe he swallowed the paper to feed the crow inside of him?
Few points about this ch:
On page 8, is that Neji? I thought he was in the battlefield
Madara's summon which is the statue that holds the jinchuriki, does anyone else think it looks awfully similar to Pein's summon in the flashback when his best friend died?
