Why Danzou, WHY!?
So Pain's piercings are there not just for decorative purposes. And Sakura can kill a giant centipede in a single punch? Where did Danzou pop out from anyway? And Kakashi's move, while cool, looked like he just electrocuted a dog. :p

Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or did Naruto destroy a mountain? O_o And Danzou popping out from the shadows? I suppose he is a ninja after all.
Well I never liked those advisors anyways, so that little part this week was pretty good. But how does Kishi plan on ending this fight now that Naruto is "trapped" with Fukusaku. This fight is just too similar to the Orochimaru fight at this point and I wouldnt be surprised if Konoha actually manages to drive Pein away, just as the 3rd did with Orochimaru
I don't think this fight is anywhere near the 3rd and Oro's fight. There is no one at Konoha at this point that can level with Pein's power. I think Kakashi can buy a little time with his Mangekyou sharingan until he figures something out but he'll be dead by then. BTW, he is against 2 of Pein's body now. Figuring out the chakra modulator might help them disable Pein but there's also his rinnegan.Quote:

How dare you do that to the frog Danzou! What an evil bastard, but anyway, the best part about this ch was the lecture Tsunade gave them senior citizens. Finally gave them a little of what they deserve.
Well this chapter made me fully believe that Danzo is actually Madara/Tobi. When you compare Danzo on that last page to the small part of Madara's face that you see when he starts to take off his mask they look almost identical. Not to mention ANBU's Root division which Danzo leads is said to be similar to The Village of the Mists teachings (i.e. Bloody Village in the Mist or something was it's nickname) fits in very well with Madara also being the Mizukage. Also the fact that Itachi trained under Madara means that Madara must of been somewhat close to Konoha often, which allowed Itachi to track him down. Not to mention the most obvious fact which is that Danzo keeps the eye that Madara uses for his sharingan constantly covered by a bandage, their hair styles are also almost identical, I've also been told that Madara has pins in his right arm (although I can't find the chapter in the manga that supports this) and Danzo's right arm is always in a sling.

One the topic of the destroyed mountains near Naruto, I think that means that he might be able to through the Rasenshuriken now.

Wow... that post really got off track.

I really hope that Naruto doesn't return in the close time, but I doubt it, he has to at least meet up with Iruka to become a rouge ninja.
The only thing is, if he actually is secretly Madara, wouldn't everyone in Konoha know what Madara looks like, therefore know it's him? It'd have to be a bit like nobody recognizing that Clark Kent is actually Superman despite the only difference between them is the clothes they're wearing.

Was this going on at the same time though? I don't think it was because when Sai went to assassinate Sasuke, Sasuke had no idea who Uchiha Madara was. From what I remember Danzo didn't want Orochimaru to have Sasuke (and we know that Madara has no problem killing fellow Uchiha), also Orochimaru had previously betrayed Akatsuki so it makes sense that Madara wouldn't want him to get any more powerful. He probably just took advantage of the fact that he could deal Orochimaru a blow from the shadows with Orochimaru blaming Konoha. Then later on after Sasuke dealt with Orochimaru (and Itachi for that matter) he decided to have him join Akatsuki.Quote:

madare's brother more than likely died /is blind/ cant be danzo.. everyone would remember him as a uchia if he was.. and both brothers had mang eyes..if i remember correctly .. he merely took out his younger brothers eyes to make his perm...
@pein would beat madare..

If Madara wanted/cared about Sasuke he wouldn't of risked Orochimaru using him as his body, which would effectively make him useless to Madara since Orochimaru would of been much harder to manipulate and more of a threat than Sasuke is. On the same line of thought if Madara cared about using the Uchiha why would he help Itachi kill them all off. Although I admit that since Sasuke was left alive it might prove that Madara does have a use for him specifically, however I think the original use was just for Itachi to get Sasuke's eyes (at least that is what I think Madara thought). The only reason Madara is currently using Sasuke is because he needs a replacement for Itachi.Quote:

Another possibility is that Madara/Danzo sent Sai to assassinate Sasuke as a test (possibly even on Itachi's request), since if you remember correctly ANBU's Root and the Hidden Mist Village had a similar way of doing things and one of those ways of doing things was life or death battles as tests. We also know that after a rouge ninja is killed the person who killed them (if they are from the rouge ninja's village) take the body back with them to prevent the villages/clans secrets getting out. Which means Itachi would of probably gotten Sasuke's eyes if Sai did somehow manage to beat him.
Why would he of needed to know about this and planned it from ages ago. He could just be responding to situations as they arise in a manner that best suits his ultimate goal. Anyway arguing about this is pointless so this will be my last post on the subject, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I could very well be wrong.Quote:

Also I didn't consider that Uchiha Madara's brother may be Danzo (although now that I've been told about the theory it's another one I like), but if that's the case why is he going against Madara. If anything I would of thought he would be helping Madara as didn't he give Madara his eye's willingly, it's even more likely he would be helping his brother if they swapped eyes.

I have to point out that Itachi did say that Madara is only a shell of his former self. And Pain has a reputation as a God, not even the First Hokage or Madara got that kind of recognition (and they could both control the Bijuu).Quote:

This chapter only makes me wonder what was in that message to Orochimaru. I bet ANBU's roots division tries to step in and deal with pain and if they win they try to declare ome kind of martial law that overrides the hokage. That would put Danzou in a good place to control stuff.
I dont know what to think of akatsuki still. Their goals are either shallow or murky. Even though they are currently attacking the village i dont think they are the more pressing enemies to worry about.
Well Raikiri Inu was pretty cool, and it seems like it has a longer range and area of effect than Sasuke's chidori snake/pole thing so take that me from the chapter 420 page, Kakashi >>> Sasuke.
Still, I don't see Kakashi beating multiple Pein bodies without some serious support. He's always struck me as a more one on one and sneak attack specialist. As someone else mentioned Gai would probably be a big help here since he's too wild to fight just one person at a time.
Danzou's gambit was a bit of a surprise, but it makes sense that he wouldn't want to risk Pein getting his hands on the Kyubii. I just hope he's got something up his sleeve to help Konoha deal with Pein.

I wasn't even going to bother posting in this thread after seeing all the BS here. I mean seriously Danzou kills a frog to prevent idiot Tsunade from throwing Naruto right into Pain's hands and all of a sudden Danzou is Madara. If there was ever a time for a good face palm, this is that time.
Anyway this chapter was good. The only problem I had was Sakura one-shotting the giant centipede when all those random ninjas were just standing there. Made them look completely useless.
Kakashi showing his awesomeness, and yes take that Yuki from chapter 420. Naruto actually looks promising, seeing all those decapitated mountains gave me a little hope and a thrown rasenshuriken should be good for at least one surprise attack before his opponents get wise to it.
I think Tsunade was being an idiot and I agree with the elders. I can't say Danzou did the right thing, because killing the toad was unnecessary but I agree with his course of action. Tsunade really was being an idiot, faith, faith, faith, yeah they should believe in Naruto more but having blind faith in people is not being a good leader. Right now they know diddly shit about Pain. So wait a bit and actually get some more info about Pain before you call in Naruto. Konoha has numbers on their side so send in some people to surround Pain's bodies, counterattack and actually assess his abilities before you throw in your trump card. If you send in Naruto right away and Pain does to Naruto's rasengan what he did to Jiraiya's ultimate rasengan and captures him, then game over.
I said this before and I'll say it again, Tsunade really doesn't make good decisions. I guess thats why she is so bad at gambling, she should have learned by now that you don't go all in from the very beginning. Tsunade likes to gamble which is okay, but more often than not she loses and this is one time they can't afford to lose.
Anyway I think Danzou has a plan and I want to see what he has up his sleeve.
With all these bad guys posing as anbus, you'd think that someone will start suspecting something..
I know that ANBU have uses for their masks, but seriously, it's ridiculous that everybody can pass as an anbu and wreck mayhem with the mask.
however, we still need to consider the possibility of a double set-up, maybe someone is just pretending to be Danzou. my first suspicion is Qunan, but I need to figure a motive for her not to want to bring Naruto to the village. so the next suspect is Kabuto, who is very good at ANBU disguises, maybe he wants the village to be destroyed so he could use Naruto to kill\weaken Sasuke so Oro could take over.
I'm really disappointed that Danzou is a bad guy.
What is wrong with you guys, is the idea that Danzo killed the toad to prevent Pain from getting an opportunity to capture the Kyuubi just too simple an explanation for your tastes. Must there always be some conspiracy? Anyway I've said all I'm going to say about that.
Because if you read the manga, across Danzou's face it says "Danzou's secret plot!!".
That's why it is a conspiracy.
Have to admit that Danzou being Madara or somehow connected to Madara may not be so far fetched. Afterall, he hates the First Hokage and therefore Tsunade, but no explaination is given this hatred other than the line that he likes to do things in a different, more violent way.

That's kind of what I was thinking... he just needs to suck less at avoiding someone else's attacks and actually connecting with his. This new move just seems to be trying to overload the opponent rather than using a clinical strike, which is what a ninja should be doing.
Yea, but remember, Naruto has his own way of the "ninja", which includes being loud and an showoff. Sure, he should be all stealthy and use precise techniques, but we all know, that's not like him at all. So I guess, if he's gonna go that direction, he go balls to the wall (at least, that's what I think Kishi thinks).
Doesn't look like he blew up a whole mountain, it looks like he cut off the tops of it so im guessing alla destucto disk, he can throw the resenshuriken or another wind technique he just learned.
