Man that was bad, but atleast it had titties.
I don't know what to say. After I finished, the first thing that popped into my head to Rosario+Vampire, and that's not good. I'll give it till episode 3 to see if anything good happens, but I'm not hopeful.
OP is released early for a change.

Is this show any good? It kind of looks like an Ikkitousen clone or something, with nothing but fanservice...
The fanservice is quite good. :). As for the plot, it's yet to come. Don't expect anything with twists and cliffhangers, but if you have 12/13 episodes to spare, this show does entertain you enough.
For those confused with all the naming and everything, this show is set in ancient China. Back then, people had two names, your birth name (名, that your parents chose), and your chosen name (字, chosen when you become of age). Normally, you introduce yourself under and are known as your chosen name. Birth names are known by those close to you. You can then shorten that to something like Rin Rin/Ling Ling. If you had to find a Jap equivalent, it would be closest to Rin/Ling-chan.
Thanks for the info on the names!
I guess i'll stick around and watch it for a bit.
I gotta say.. Its the first time I came to like loli characters. Rinrin is just so cute
I watched this until episode 2, and it seems to be alright. I am not really satisfied with the story, since it is a straightforward adventure type with a very vague ideal goal, but the characters are a bit funny and cute.
It's not really one of those shows with a gripping plot. Just one of those that you sit back and enjoy a screen full of women, bounciness and the occasional lesbian joke. I thought the one in episode 3 was quite funny btw. Other than that, it an alternate (and hardly accurate) recount of the adventures of the many ancient Chinese heroes.
The girl with the guy-sounding-VA looked quite hot in that dress. :D Shame on them for only giving her eighty-seven points.
Funny thing is, it's based on an h-game and the story is completely different from that as well besides the characters.
H-game??Quote:

I've been seeing some HCG from tokyotosho. Btw that picture looks HOT!
I really love Rinrin. Kawaii nanodA! Is it just me or this show has so many dirty stuffs going around when the camera is off? :D
Damn that assassin. She sure picked the wrong time to arrive, it was just getting good. :D
Well, finally got around to watching the final two episodes. Thoughts:
-My limited knowledge of Chinese history tells me Ryoubi was a cowardly bastard, and the ending shows that well. I'm glad I hated him.
-Lin Lin riding a pig was just too cute.
-Buff/Bill's Favourite Character Award goes to Sei. Sexy, a little weird (hence sexy), and I just love her obsession to remain as Kamen Beauty until the very end.
-Plot picked up well for the ending. It was actually interesting, and the majority of focus was on the storyline rather than boobs and panty shots, though they can't resist slipping at least some during the bed scenes.
-Lovely return of the whole cast from their travels, ended with the story coming a 360 with Aisha and Lin Lin's sisterhood.
All in all, another light hearted series from Winter 2008 that ends on a high note and wide open for a sequel. For what it is, I wouldn't mind picking up a second season, and a thank you to all the staff from AnimeOne and Menclave who worked on this project.
Seems like no one cared for this series other than Buffalobiian. Was thinking of giving it a shot, but it doesn't really appeal to me from what I'm seeing.
I watched it over 3 days last week but didn't care enough to revive that thread.
That fourth ep was mean for those interrested in SM yuri loli...
Other than that, it was just a good way of letting time pass by.

I find it quite odd that no one is paying attention to this show, while Kampfer already has twice as many replies despite having only 4 episodes.
I personally like this better than Kampfer. Better characters, with the same level of absurdity and jokes. The lack of a transforming wuss is also a plus. There is also yuri, though not as random as Kampfer's.
If this is a sequel, I did not know there was in the works. :/
Thanks for the info :D
It is a sequel, and it has been pretty good so far.
i was one of the few here who watched the first season (or at least commented on it), and it was alright. It wasn't as "out there" as Kampfer IMO. If you say it's good though, I'll give it a try when I have more time.
You should definitely try it buff. The gags are smart and funny, the fanservice is good too. Atleast better than Queen's Blade. Art is good too.
I actually did watch the first season, and I liked it. I will give this second season a try, I suppose, but I only followed with AnimeOne's releases.
I don't really think the jokes are smart, but they are funny. It is hardly witty, but the perverse nature of most jokes should be more than enough entertainment.
Shin Koihime Musou 4
I loved the Slayers reference here, but that is probably the only good thing this episode. More perverted fan service for the main group, but that is pretty much it.
