Yes, our old picture thread died. It's been gone for far too long, and some of you thought maybe you could get away without posting your mugshots. There are many of you who've been posting a ton, and still haven't posted a picture, or some of you who thought that posting your picture 4 years ago would be sufficient. in particular, I would like to pick on...
Jadugar: Your picture finding abilities are legendary. Why not find us a picture of yourself?

Terra: Ok, so we've seen lots of Terra pics before, but we know a certain admin can never pass up an opportunity to post pictures.
And the rest of you, that I didn't mention, you should still post your pictures anyways! And one of these days we should get the Gotbook started up again.
Disclaimer: This post is intented to be humourous and should not be read as being serious. The persons mentioned above are mainly the people who come to my mind when I think about who's been the most active posters lately. No persons should feel obligated to post a picture of themselves if they are not comfortable doing so.

On a serious note though, don't let your opinions be dictated by irc, a place where there are no real rules or reasons for things. Don't base your opinions of people on what language they happened to grow up speaking, but give us a chance to prove ourselves as individuals.
And I'm just playing around about the picture. If you're not comfortable posting one, that's cool, I respect that.

As a general rule i don't take photographs of myself. I figure I know what I look like, no point bothering. Also, the Amish believe that taking a photograph of a person can steal their soul. They also believe that M&Ms are Satan's work but that marrying your cousin is OK. I also hate putting too much real information in any one place on the internet.
So any pics with me in them have been taken by family or friends. But yeah I'll probably have to post a picture, because i really have posted alot and people would like to have a face to place the name.
Oh, but Kit, you have to actually meet me in person to experience how charming I am. So I suppose our paths will have to cross (destiny in the making) so I can sweep you off your feet.

It was made 4 month and 3 weeks ago and is still alive. It has 405 replies. It a thread where people like Mut@chi, AssertnFailure, Y , Terra and I argued with each other so much. 47 people took part in this discussion. Oddly enough I didnt post a single picture of any of those "pictures".
Yes, lately I have been obsessed with heavenly bodies but I hate to think that thats all I have become. Also I am not afraid to speak my mind hence my banning record.
As for posting my picture, I will think about it. Right now I am too pissed.

That is actually a good rule, because when you take too many pictures of yourself you'll eventually start thinking "what the fuck do I -really- look like?" due to the fact that photos can be so different depending on view and etc.

Jadugar, I'm sorry if I implied anything derogatory about you. My first post was meant in a teasing and light-hearted manner, and was not meant to be demeaning or hurtful in any way. I was trying to play off the fact that recently many people are awed by your ability to find pictures. As Kraco said, it was a humorous exaggeration. I apologize for taking the liberty of teasing you without knowing you well enough, or giving more indication of my non-seriousness in my first post. I know that your posting of pictures only amounts to a fraction of your total post count and that you have created many threads that have done very well and created lots of great discussion. I shall amend my first post to avoid being misleading.

Thank you for the compliment. However, I'm not that old. As for the drop of sweat it was just a random clip art that I inserted in. As for the writing, it came together with the photo and wasn't written by me. If you really want to know what it means, it's just some thing about "our dreams are beautiful...blah blah.... night with brightest moon light... blah blah, etc.

Aww, don't feel bad, Jadugar! No hard feelings whatsoever. I truly appreciate your sincerity, and the past is in the past, I don't let it affect the future. the new haircut is interesting. If I don't care to blow-dry it, the ends start flipping out and I get something similar it Train Heartnet's hair! Unfortunately, when I try to get a pic of it, somehow the photo just doesn't do it justice-- which is why I haven't bothered posting it. Maybe someday... if I'm not overly lazy =P

Ahou birds are also found in some other anime titles. It could very well be one of the anime traditions. It looks like it's used when characters are made to do unnaturally stupid or funny things by the script writers.
And damn, I also almost missed KitKat due to the new sig / avatar images...

@ KiKat : I dont like your new avatar one bit ( just an opinion ). Its not as good as your old one. The old avatar was awesome. Yoruichi in that cat pose looked very seductive and deadly at the same time. It suited your username as well as your online persona. If its not too personal, may I ask why did you change it? Did you get tired of Yoruichi's image or her character?
