amazing episode...
I was....really bored this episode.
It's like, they went out of there way to show everything being back the way it was before, by showing everyone doing things they've done dozens of times before.
I liked it, it might be possible that this filler arc will be good, maybe
I'd like to at least see where this is going before I knock it down. Lets hope there's no curry of life in this arc
The curry of life filler arc, was like... so stupid.. Ive seen better plots in the 3 dollar porn dvds you can buy off the streets by the navy base in Okinawa. Hopefully Bleach wont go the same route. Let us hope.
I think this was quite good. I have few complaints so far. The animation was also good. Let's hope they won't gradually degrade it, hoping nobody will notice.
The only complaint I do have is the rather cheap way they started the plot: Right after one rescue the princess arc they seem to be starting another one.
Damn, the seiyuu of Orihime's brother has an impossibly long resume. No wonder he always sounds so familiar. Quite like Inoue Kikuko...
Meh, they started fucking with stuff they shouldn't mess with... Real complaint is bringing Renji into the arc...
Reason being because, even though it hasn't really been touched in the manga, it was evident that Renji had some sort of resentment and/or unfinished business with Urahara, I assume that it's because of what was done to Rukia or something...
But his introduction in this filler arc doesn't deal with that...
What's with the ending theme? I think someone went on an acid trip when they made it.
Probably the only thing I really liked about this was Renji's intro...In 60's clothes...
I would imagine they consulted Kubo to learn if he has any plans to make Renji sort things out with Urahara (unless that already happened in the manga, which I'm not reading). Although I have no real idea how this business goes in the reality, but such a confirmation seems like common sense to me.Quote:

Indeed. What were those little... Characters supposed to be? Well, it's not like it's a big deal. I'm in the habit of skipping openings and endings anyway. But too bad the song wasn't a real hit this time.Quote:

This epi wasn't real good, but its good that they still have the thing that shinigami's are 5 times weaker in real world.. else Ichigo and Renji would be over powered, I like it this way.. maybe this filler is good!
The ending displayed all the baddies for this arc.... looks like theres some priest like leader bent on desturction ^_^.
Seems like instead of many small fillers ... they are doing one big long (hopefully) arc instead to kill time ... naruto should of done that.
Edit: Anyone else here in love with Ichigo's dad? Dude cracks me up.
This episode was hilarious. The "Freeloader-san" part was funny as hell and everything with Kon made me lol.
Was the three dolls in the ending supposed to represent the three bad-guys?
The funniest part was actually the clip at the end, when Ishida puts the Quincy symbol on the back of Kon's head.
......
......
Ok, wow. Now I noticed before that the creators are in love with Renji's VA, as they have him do lots of extra stuff like narration, episode previews, appearances in the 63 Special. But now that he's in the filler arc... man that's bad. Just the way he acts. Renji would NEVER go to Ichigo for help if there was a Hollow he had to kill.
And the new ending... more dancing puppets... not cool. The new ending felt like it was for the villains. That's just a little bit weird, don't you think?
I always said that Naruto should just go with one long filler arc, rather than all the crappy small ones. From the ending it looks like thats what Bleach is doing, lets just hope it goes well.
I'm so glad to see Tatsuki and Ichigo's Dad getting screentime. Love those two.
Maybe he went to get Ichigo not for help but because he knew Inoue was involved. Both out of courtesy (dunno if Renji has such but anyway) and because if something happened, Ichigo would never forgive him otherwise. Well, I also thought it was a bit weak, but can't be helped. Maybe the Kurosaki house was suitably along the route to the Inoue house, and so it didn't cost any time.
has anyone seen the ending yet, WTF is with the dancing, and the weird things doing stuff...
The end of the world as we know it.
Great, just great. It sounds like they're gonna fuck up every cool character in the series by somehow teaming him/her up with Ichigo. Boy, doesn't that sound all too familiar..Quote:

I swear, if we see Kenpachi or someone else come to earth to help/ask for help from Ichigo, its all over.
Edit: God, I hope I'm wrong.
I dont know why renji is in this episode they could have totally done it with out him been there. other than that it was an alright episode.
Did you guys watch the end the episode where Ishida puts the quincy signal in the back of the head of Kon wasnt that supposed to be in the actual story line
Yes.. It was...wtf is going on? First Renji gets put into a filler arc, then an ending only a high-ass idoit can enjoy was put in, and then the mess with the story.Quote:

It would be cool though if Kenpashi came and challenged Ichigo to mortal combat *que heavy metal guitars*.Quote:

That would be fine, them getting forced to work together in a filler is what I fear most.Quote:

It might have been, but it would be weird for Ichigo to be so relaxed so soon after failing to save Orihime.Quote:

This episode didn't seem that bad, it was mostly funny with some development at the end. A possible tie in to the main plot could be the interest that fourth squad guy had in Orihime's power when she was healing Ichigo, perhaps these people want it too, since she's so weak there's little else they might want her for.
I also hope they come up with a good explanation for these hollows that apparently work togeather and plan stuff, maybe they'll use Aizen.
Thankfully there are decent alternatives if this arc really goes south, IMO anyway.
I liked this ep... and well people like Renji so they decided to have him there... and it doesn't look like Renji was asking for help, just telling ichigo because it was orihime.
and the first one was obviously cuz he didn't want to bother...
and yea. the father is the sh*t!
People need to get over the ending. Yeah, it's stupid. It's the fucking credits, who the hell cares.
That said though, I wish more anime would devote their end credits to whatever villains are in the arc. Villains in series change all the time, and so do the endings.
Leave the openings to the good guys, give badguys the endings.
Wow so far I'm impressed that was at least 10-15 times better then the naruto fillers. Then again I remember myself thinking the same thing when the naruto fillers started off with naruto and co heading off to Orchimaro's mansion. Sounded like a good idea but I think we all know how that turned out. But so far a promising start to the bleach fillers, here's hoping that the writing monkeys of studio pierrot don't get their hands on future bleach scripts.
This is the first Bleach episode i wasn´t looking forward to and i wasnt´t downloading on wednesday, because im not interested at all.
compared to Naruto it ain't all that bad, so far.
Just wait, as soon as Naruto filler is done, the writers/animators that did that shit will be assigned to Bleach fillers.. Goddamn, I hate myself right now for even thinking that.
ok i dont know why people liked this episode so much, it pretty much sucked. Okay, maybe it was better than the naruto filler episodes but that doesnt mean it wasnt pretty bad episode overall
Well, I'm only speaking for myself, but personally I want to like Bleach as long as I can, now fillers included. I also wanted similarly to like Naruto fillers, but obviously that's somewhat impossible nowadays.
I liked it *shrugs*
They took various elements out of the manga, and left a lot of stuff behind. And I love the creepy villains so far..
Give the thing a chance before you all start to whinge again.. Pessimists
the filler wasn't bad at all, but renji's appearence in it is making me confused, because of other things.
Indeed, I was about to point that out too. He's one of my favorite voice actors, my favorite role of his is a certain someone from Guilty Gear.Quote:

As for the episode; it was very evident somehow that it was filler. Still, so far leagues better than Naruto's dito. For the following reasons:
1) Funnier, MUCH funnier.
2) Filler characters used in the ending credits - this indicates that the arc will be long and hopefully with at least a few memorable characters. It also gives off the feeling that the characters actually matter more than they do in most filler. I think that if the same characters are used constantly, it will turn out much better than the constant waves of new shit that we get in Naruto.
3) Renji
lol, I dono about you guys but when I saw the villain with the big hat I immediatly thought of the apostle from Black Cat.
Your not alone Quote:

It was good because it was actually funny and they shoulda made Orihime's PJ's see through!
Oh wait......did......did you just say that an event in the spin-off after the previews didn't directly tie in to the actual storyline? Is that what you said?Quote:

Ok, just checking.

No, he said that, that portion at the end of the episode should've been included with the rest of the episode...
The bit at the end of this episode did happen in the manga.
So did the bit last episode with Unohana and her Lieutenant.
Your arguments are very quickly becoming void Assertn!
liked the episode..much better than naruto filler..*Shrugs* it was funny throughout the whole thing..animation is constant...nothing to really complain about
I have to agree on this, afterall thsi is bleach. Still fillers suck.Quote:

Lets hope Ichigo doesn't decide to end everything by doing a Bankai or turning into a semi hollow, therby rendering every storyline useless (Rasengan anyone?).
Please for the sake of everything that is decent, dont even say something like that!
*knocks on wood*
I shudder at the thought.
I KNEW that was Yuji Ueda!! I wasn't sure though. Thanks for the confirmation.Quote:

Nah, he'll just use his Shikai like crazy until even the ground doesn't get affected by it anymore. They'll get lazy and just make a bright flash, then you'll see his enemy on the ground (or not at all, if its a hollow). Ahh, the cheapness of it all...Quote:

I'll finally admit you're right when I see kon in an actual episode with the quincy mark in the back of his head.
This is starting to sound like our conversation from the last episode about whether Kon was in Ichigo's body while he was in S.S.. From what I could tell from this episode, he wasn't. Everybody kept saying he was gone the whole time. If we see that mark on Kon later, woot. If not, oh well.
that thing looked like the hell door and the new ending sucks butt... where was the flame dude?
Not everybody. Kon wasnt in Ichigo's body and now those people know it.Quote:

Just because Kon was in Ichigo's body, it doesn't mean he's going to hang-out with Ichigo's friends... So that no one had seen him before this, is of no importance...
@Assertn, if that would be evidence enough for you, then the fact that Kon's bear was all torn up should be evidence enough already.
My bad, it just seemed alot of people had that theory.Quote:

Well, at least we know not to take those things at the end of the episode seriously anymore.

bud, if Kon was in ichigo's body, how did he transfer himself back into the stuffed animal? he rolled himself?
...Ichigo put him back in it?
and Ero-san, wether you take them seriously or not is not my problem, but those things actually happen in the Bleach story line... so you guys can be all ignorant for all I care.
Well, then, the anime is leaving huge plot-holes then. Did the manga show Ichigo take Kon out of his body or something when he came back? And if that's considered a spoiler, pm it to me please.(not exactly sure if it would, since the event already occured, prob just considered an ommission) Thanks in advance.Quote:

Okay, I am ending this disscussion right here, right now.
Now here it is disbelievers!
I'm actually pretty sorry that they didn't include this scene in the episode. Not only does it clear up a few things, but its also pretty funny.
And also:
The thing with Kon.
So, you can keep discussing this if you want, but it seems kind of pointless now.
No it's not considered a spoiler, and yes they did... things that have been shown on those mini-clips at the end of the episodes have happened in the manga... They are just putting it at the end so that they can skim through the scene very quickly to devote more time to other things of importance... But, whatever I won't discuss anymore on the matter...
Cool, thanks. So, did they just make up the vacation thing for the anime only then? Eh, I just wanted some plot holes filled in. Thanks.
No, he did go in a vacation... Kon just got into Ichigo's body a couple of episodes ago... I think one day or two time wise.
Ahh, cool. Too bad they didn't show that in the anime, woulda solved alot of plot hole issues way ahead of time.
They did show it, in the end episode scenes...
Well I'm not sure about how long they were in SS. But right before Ichigo leaves he tells his father he'll be gone for a week. But at the end of that chapter you see Kon's stuffed animal body lying on the ground, with Urahara's shadow over him. And Kon also speaks about being in Ichigo's body later (and secretly spying on girls while inside it ) So, from what I can gather Kon seems to have been inside his body, but just stayed out of everyone's way.
EDIT: See? This is what you get if you spend a few minutes looking up manga chapters for confirmation. Let this nija-like simu-posting serve as an everlasting warning to all other forum go-ers.
I meant him actually getting into Ichigo's body. I don't think I ever saw that happen.
Doubters been pwned.Quote:

As a manga reade I already knew that anime has taken a different route from the manga. In manga Kon did actually went into Ichigo's body as shown by the pictures you posted.Quote:

But hang on. We are talking in an BLEACH ANIME section. As far as the anime watcher are concerned that incident where Kon switched his body with Ichigo never happened. Anime didnt hint nor did they animated it. Or did they?
If it did happen in ANIME then plz post those pictures. Plz save those manga references for the manga disussions.
yea i remember there was a reason i thought he was in his body, i forgot about that chapter
Man seriously, drop the shit already... The anime has already shown Kon has been in Ichigo's body but you fools don't want to fucking accept it, so that's your problem... Here are the pics showing Kon is in Ichigo's body...

Fuck you guys. Fuck you all.
Shut up about that goddamn fucking stupid, insignificant argument already! WHO FUCKING CARES?!
If it was important it would be addressed by the anime. From the manga standpoint it seems Kon was in Ichigo's body. If you're seriously going to nitpick that much to go and say that its STILL a plothole in the anime because they didn't include that scene from the manga (albeit alluding to it numerous times in the after-episode shorts), you are pathetic and trite.

I liked the ep ok. The humor was decent (Ichigo and his father, Orihime's icecream headache (I do that too...), and Chad blowing up that building and being like "oops"). And the freeloader scene was great for something they just made up for a filler. The only thing I have to gripe about is that is looks like they want ot make this another "rescue the girl" arc, and we just HAD one of those. Can't they rescue some guy for a change? Sheesh...
No, because guys never need rescuing in the world of anime.
Meh this ep ruined the coolness known as Renji.
I thought this episode was okay.
Actually, I didn't even notice that it was a filler until I read this thread.
sheesh..why is it always a trio of baddies?
because since it's a filler, their death won't matter much to us anyway?(so, i guess..)
So since inoue's brother was freed from being a hollow was he just an illusion or is this dude a hollow again?
the episode was alright, but i'd rather watch what's happening in the manga right now then this filler, and wtf is with this freakin ending song?! it's horrible and is nothing i would've expected from bleach!
pssh, anything beats happy people..
Ok I re-listened to the last song and try to block out the acid trip influenced "creatures" and it turns out to be not so bad. I like the instrumentals, a mellow tone on the side.
