I really thought his exterior was his true self, not a mask or whatever it is.

Me too. I thought he was an alien or something. But he's so...normal. 'cept for his ears.

I haven't read it, but a friend spoiled it for me. I'm looking forward to hearing that creepy-ass voice coming out of that body.

Maybe his voice is different without the mask. That would be neat.
Because I certainly can't pair the voice together with those looks.

The only thing I can guess is that he has some sort of suit on that he made himself. He IS a crazed scientist, so he probably thought about making something to make himself stronger.

The dudes cracked, I can't make much of what HE Really is and what is just a prototype or some weird construction of his. I wonder if he experimented on his soul slayer?

I thought the same thing - that he looked like a bitch.

I honestly believed his previously shown was his true form after tons of experimenting on himself or whatever. But, he's human looking.

Any theories on why he didn't take any part in the Captain v. Captain festivities up at the Execution?

Maybe he was still injured from Ishida, or perhaps he just didn't care.

I believe he is the weakest of the captains, just cause he's more into research yenno? Balance in things, you cant be horribly intellegent and strong (unless you are Azien of course =P Bastard lead us all like a fish with a hook in its mouth =D).

A twist with Aizen in Bleach is what we need in Naruto. I swear I didn't see it coming.

Correction, I saw it coming after I read a spoiler thread in this Forum Section. But, before that .. I was COMPLETELY oblivious.

And, Mayuri probably didn't care. But, why not? Everyone else did. Then again, I agree in the assumption that he's the weakest of the Thirteen Captains.

yeah he should be one of the weakest and he doesnt have his armor/whatever on right now. he also doesnt care just like he sed =D.

Good to see him back, kinda like having all the captains up and around.

I'm glad all the Captains are around and kickin', though. I'm also glad Komamura (Is this his name?) isn't wearing the mask anymore. I thought that crate around his head was dumb.

i dunno if mayuri is all that weak. He could pull of an Aizen, but that seems unlikely. I mean you cant have two insanely strong bad guys.

he didnt care about Aizen screwing up Soul Society. He must be up to some big shit of his own to not bother at all. I know he doesnt care about anyone besides himself, but one would at least look kinda shocked and surprised. He actually looked BORED!!!!
