I want to move to Colorado into the mountains because A.) I love the mountains anyway, B.) there are more friggin' trees around C.) because of A and B I'm not surrounded by farmland and people who think they're cowboys when you know for a fact only a certain percentage of them could actually ride a mechanical bull without getting killed.
But that's beside the point. Why did I look out the window? Because a huge freaking thunderstorm is rolling my way. No, I do not have a problem with thunderstorms. Hell, I've been at 12,000 feet while hiking and got to our campsite and slept through a loud storm in a small tent that had metal poles. In fact, I enjoy them for the most part.
What I do not enjoy is the fact that because I live in the land of no trees where the farmland gets used so much there aren't any real nutrients left in it, these kinds of storms at this point in the season have a tendency to say to themselves, "Hey, I'm feelin' kinda twisty - maybe I'll draw some doodles in the ground below...la de da..." Thus the alarms go off, I freak out, and don't know where to go aside from the hallway because they told me on Sunday when the last tornado decided to skip past my town to stay in my room even though this room has some pretty big fucking windows.
I don't mind tornadoes in a way, I mean it's not like I have a grudge against mother nature or something, she's pretty cool and I enjoy her work. I just do not enjoy being in the path of her paintbrush, or in this case, airbrush. If I had my chance, I'd move, unlike those people who live right next to the Mississippi River who refuse to budge even though they've been flooded over about 10 times and want to stay because it's "pretty here."
So my rant in short? If those sirens go off again, I'm gonna be fucking pissed. (not to mention how a fire alarm went off on Monday at 10am).
Yeah, I know this was longer than it probably needed to be, but I tend to ramble when I get into something. Hope ya enjoyed my bitching.

Well, it's always possible to go to the bookmarks editor (whatever it's called in English - I have a localised version), and export the bookmarks. Save them in a safe place, uninstall the whole thing, install anew, and import the bookmarks if they disappeared. It should work.Quote:

What is more interesting is that people have stepped off-topic to relate about my work and post about it. Many of those quotes are not really from those that came off (to me ) that they simply didn't know what it was they were relating to. well to start off, my break is coming to an end and i have been chained to my bed. The furthest i got away from the house was the doctors' office.
After being bed bound, for 6 days, having a temperature of a 103 and coughing up blood I finally gave in and went to the doctor.
Fucking doctors and nurses. I swear that they try to kill you before they cure you. It took the nurse 5 fucking tries and 2 arms for her to find a vein. I so fucking dislike needles. And they know it. A fucking crackhead could do a better job.
Well now i am feeling better. But i discovered that i roasted my taste buds from tea and soup, also my nose is so sore that breathing is a pain in the ass.
Other than that i am alright. Glad to be back.

@BoC.... i actually used a chisel and a machete. the chisel nicked my wrist vein, and the machete almost claimed my pinky toe (only cracked the bone). Why is it that so many groups jump on the same damn project and neglect other animes? I've already counted 6 goddamn groups subbing that piece of shit KIBA show. NANA has 3 (although I hear that's a good show). Ouran High School Club has 3 including Lunar (meaning the other groups should just do themselves a favor and drop it, as anybody with half a brain will wait for Lunar). F-B picked up Ray: the Animation. 3 crappy groups picked up crappy Soul Link.

I feel like the anime subbers are a group of 8 year olds playing soccer. They all just cluster into a big tangle around the ball, all trying to get the goal. Nobody thinks about the other jobs that need to be done, and if they do they all just want the glory anyway. Some are smart enough to 'assist' other groups in doing a show. But it seems nobody wants to play defense and wait to catch what might prove to be a dark horse winner from the neglected series.
I know bitching about subbers is pretty lame, especially since they put alot of time and effort into subbing and therefore have the right to sub whatever they want. But goddamnit I want to see my shows subbed by good groups!
edit - well after getting some more info from Bud in IRC I'm not quite as pissed. Seems Live-Evil will eventually do Jyu oh Sei and gg Fansubs is waiting for their translator to figure out priorities, but they've tentatively picked up Glass no Kantai. Something is alot better than nothing.
I agree wholeheartedly, Masa. I wish more groups, or a faster group, would pick up Angel Heart since that seems to be the slowest-releasing anime in the history of mankind. Despite the super-quality encodes done by Ani-Kraze and Lost in Translation, two quality sub and no speedsubs just isn't balanced.
Another series is Basilisk. I think Basilisk is pretty close to Angel Heart in terms of speed. I'm still not done watching the series and it'll probably be June before I watch the second last episode...
I fucking hate this mother fuckin new phone and shit. Just got myself a new cell becuase i dropped my old one in the floor and the display shattered, now i don't have a single of my old numbers left i need to re-create my whole fuckin phonebook. This obviously sucks alot and if that weren't enough the phone got alot of gay sounding phonetunes and shit so i had to delete all the shit and load some songs onto it.
PSJ, if the phone itself is still alive (just the display screen is dead) then you can go to a dealer and see if they'll wire your phonebook to you. (of course you'll probably have to pay) but if you have a lot of people to put into your phonebook, it's probably worth it.
speaking of phones, i'm sick and tired of seeing everyone using this damn phone, what's so great about it that everyone has to freaking use it?

so it's pretty late here in Italy, past 2AM. I stay up late, usually to 3 at least.
It was a pretty normal day for me. Woke up at noon, got some groceries, got alot of studying done for my upcoming exam, watched an episode of Rescue Wings, ate at regular hours. Got a midnight snack as my roommates were going to bed (proscuitto and cheese sandwich), glass of water. All pretty normal and regular.
So it's just past 2AM and i need to drain the lizard before watching an episode and hitting the hay. Walk out of my room, into the kitchen, unbutton my PJs, go to open the bathroom... ... ...
It's locked.
The door is locked, it's pitch-black and empty inside. I try the door again. Nope.
So I'm standing there with my dong in my hand and my bladder going 'Pardon me sir.' And this friggin locked door is stopping me from passing the Grey Poupon to the sewer monkeys.
Now there are actually three doors to the bathroom, one to the balcony (don't ask me why. it's the only way to the balcony as well), one from the kitchen, and one from my roommates room. Now obviously they're the culprits here, but they've been asleep for awhile already. I'm not about to go creeping through their room when they're asleep (and I'd have to practically step over their heads to get to the bathroom, they sleep on a cot on the floor). And I know they had a long and shitty day today, so I don't want to wake them.
And my bladder is like still all 'Hemhem, pardon me, sir'
So I go back to my room, put on pants, shoes etc. Get my keys and go to take a moonlit piss somewhere out in the streets.
The restaurant next door's staff are all standing around smoking. Further up the street the street cleaning crew is moving along at a snail's pace. No urine shall flow here.
I go to a little side-street, this couple is getting absolutely freaky in the best (and already used. what is wrong with their noses?) corner, and then a cop car rolls up.
I go to the nearby park. The Punkabestia people are smoking something or other and before i can even get to a tree they're talking to me and trying to make a pass at my wallet (which i stupidly had on me).
'PARDON ME SIR!!!' This is getting out of hand. Everything is closed, even the bars. Finally I just shuffle between two parked cars on the street next to the park and pass the Grey Poupon all on some Honda's tires. This elderly couple (why the fuck aren't they in bed?!) passes and gives me dirty looks.
And I go back to my apartment. And the bathroom door is now wide open.
God fucking damnit.
I hate road intersections. I'm either cursed somehow, or extremely unlucky all day, everyday. Every time I approach an intersection without traffic lights, there are no cars in sight. By the time I'm about 50 to 100 meters away from the intersection, no cars pass by. By the time I'm about 10 m away from the intersection, no cars pass by. By the time I reach the intersection, 20 cars zoom by from both sides. After they pass by and I cross, there is not a single left on the road in either side. Then I reach the next intersection, same thing happens.
And the worst part is that it doesn't matter if I'm walking, biking or driving. It happens all the time.

Hell no I hate MY dentist. Everytime I go to get my teeth cleaned the bastard pulls some kind of move to inflict physical pain upon me. Today he kicked me in the elbow as hard as he could. "WTF is up with that?", you may ask. I guess I used to be ok with it back when I was like 15 or so and thought it was funny. Now it's just annoying. What's even worse is that I've told him to stop doing it. I guess I need to find a new dentist.
Sounds like a genuine ruffian. They are still present in this day and age. It's just not always easy to recognize them until they reveal they true nature.

Today my mom came home at 6:00 PM, as per usual, and complained about her day. She's unemployed and feels obligated to help my grandparents, yet nobody is forcing her to do so. Every day she acts like a friggin' martyr for her cause.
Anyway, after her ranting, I ask where all my stuff I need for my driver's test tomorrow is. She proceeds to yell at me because it's "not her responsibility." Then I remind her that she took all my junk -- including my social security number -- to my grandparents in order to schedule a driving appointment.
She continues to blame me for the loss and how it's not her fault, despite the fact that she took it. Having my social security number floating around dangerously is not good at all, but to have my mom yell at me for something that wasn't even my fault just makes it ten times worse.
Then she goes to my dad and says that I'm "out of control". The entire argument all I did was remind her of what she did, which she apparently doesn't like hearing.
I seriously don't know what's going to happen now. My mom is gone, my dad left angrily, and there's no doubt going to be a fight between the two of them tonight. My dad, being the arrogant prick that he is, will say that "she's not taking care of things at home", and she'll reply that this isn't "Leave it to Beaver".
Then they'll blame me for the whole fiasco because I ignited it. Then, tomorrow, provided I take my test, I'll probably just fail it miserably and the whole thing will be pointless.

Aw, poor Genma. I've had this happen to be before too, and for the longest time I thought, "Great, my parents are going to friggin' get divorced by something I didn't even mean to start." The ridiculous part is (and I'm not trying to sound pompous or anything) is that out of the three of us (my older sis, younger sis, and myself) I am the child that they have to worry about the least. And though rain doesn't necessarily piss me off (except at this point in time a rainstorm can = lots of wind which can = damn tornado sirens going off since I live in the land of flatness [Illinois]), I hate when it has that "I'm thinking of raining" look outside but it never freaking does. It's just cloudy, windy, and just overall blah outside. Freaking rain or clear up. Indecisiveness sucks.
My ISP, Comcast, fucked up big time, saying I didn't pay for my internet, when of course, I had. So, they shut it off, which really kinda pissed me off. I finally got it back, but I had to pay extra to get back my normal connection.
I like rainy days.

so i stayed up almost all night last night, missed out on kickass clubbing the past two days in order to pass this exam scheduled for today.
I go to the exam.
Professor: "You're late."
Me: "I'm sorry I couldn't find the room" (fucking italian buildings are beautiful, but goddamn if the school ones aren't like a labyrinth and devoid of useful signs...)
Professoressa: "Beh, culpa tua... Here's the paper."
Me: "I thought it was supposed to be an oral exam?" (I've learned trying to take a written exam in a language you just started learning 3 years ago is a very bad idea)
Professoressa: "No no, that exam is next week."
Me: "But you only mentioned today for the final!"
Professoressa: "Well it's the 16th for the oral. Today is the written."
Me: "The 16th? I'm supposed to go on vacation that day (to Prague)"

FUCK! Now I have to scramble to change flights, pay the difference, recant on the girl I was going with for the first day (a firebrand at the haystack dance , though in a mixed hostel of 4 it'll be a little kinkier than my tastes...), still pay for the hostel for that night and reprep myself for the exam.
And that fucking bitch professor only stressed today as the final date. I wasn't the only one to show up under the wrong impression that today was both exams...

Other then the fact I just got 4 hours of sleep, because of a meeting of the heads of state here. (Damn you Comp!) I'm sitting here trying to think of a gift for my mother and then I thought of this that Mother's Day, like any gift-giving or well-wishing holiday may be good for some, but it's quite painful for others. Does anyone think about those with no mothers or those who have wrongly had their kids taken away or for the mother who gave up a child for adoption? It's aimed like every mother in existence is worthy of honor on this day, the mom's are going to be queen for the day.
It tugs at my heart, knowing that every time they see something going on about Mother's Day, they become sorrowful and have to relive memories stored since the last painful Mother's Day. I saw a new line of greeting cards being advertised because they were different in that they said things like "Congratulations on Your Divorce", "To Mom and her Boyfriend" and "Happy Remarriage" . I'm surprised there aren't really cruel ones for people still carrying a hate or grudge towards their mothers, like "Thanks for giving me up" "You were always a bitch", "Thanks for the Beatings", "You were always neglectful", "You Never Loved Me", "Why did you have me?". Yikes, that's harsh! There would be a market for them, however.
I hear so many people bitch about their mothers and don't treat them well for a whole year, but then this day comes around and only on this day do they pretend to care. It's not fair to the mother. Do they really think a yearly phone call is going to make things ok? That mom isn't hip to this? She makes noises like she's so pleased to hear from them, but deep down she's sad, knowing they're just going through the motions because it's expected. Granted, there are mothers who have kids who love them all the time and are very happy to be showered with gifts and cards on this day. They are the lucky ones.
My mother is a kind woman, having myself with no father for much of my life; I remember that every Mother's Day. It pains me not to know how that felt, that because I was young I had no idea the problems she had. She had to go back to school just to support me and at that end caused her to go down a different path in her life then she wanted. More to the point I fucked up her life. To be reminded of this on mother's day is hard to think about, she never had said I did, and she praises the fact I was born. I just don't understand that, Is a gift every year going to help you not think of those times that you were poor, alone, and living a life you didn't plan on? Am I to be happy or sad?
Confusion on this matter hits me every year now at this time when I need to get her a gift, as if it wasn't hard already, nothing I give her will change the past, something that I want it to do, and as well I can't give her something to remind her of those days past. Some years I went in on gifts with my two siblings born after this to a loving mother and father. They don't know what happened before and gifts they give are much more how to say "normal" However this hurts me more, as it's truly not from me, the one that matters. To ask you Gotwoot to help me here is hard. Frankly I'm not asking for it. I'm just typing what’s on my mind and bitching about the time I need to spend in a mall somewhere thinking about this. There is something really fucked up about some people. Now i don't know why people are fucked up or how they came to be that way but everybody seems to have some minor disorder that makes them act and behave like total jackasses and this bothers me more than a pole up my ass. Is it really that hard for people to behave normally? I can't fucking stand being surrounded by morons all the time, they are fucking everywhere. Maybe i'm just a magnet that attracts idiots but damn i can't keep track of all the idiots i am forced to be around all day, all week and fucking all year.

A long and bitter story that isn't yet finished:
Damn it. I woke up at 3AM to a strong smell of smoke. I instantly jumped up, and ran through the apartment from one electric appliance to another checking if one was on fire. Then it occured to my sleepy mind that the fire alarm would be pretty loud if that was the case.

The smell of smoke was even heavier in there. Well, I still didn't hear fire alarm from anywhere, so I thought: screw it, and just tried to air my apartment through the balcony door and window. Then I went back to sleep.
Maybe a quarter later I woke up, and realised there was just as much smell of smoke in my apartment than right before venting. So, I aired again, and left the window slightly open. And satisfied went back to sleep. Two hours later I woke up because there was even more smoke. I realised it came right in from the open window. I went to the balcony and immediately noticed hefty amounts of smoke puffing from the apartment directly below me.
I grasped my trousers and left the apartment with full intention to go and ring the doorbell of the said apartment below mine. However, at its door I found it's not so easy to ring somebody's door bell at 5AM. Instead I took the elevator all the way down and walked to the parking lot in front of the building, and tried to have a look at the suspicious apartment from outside. The balcony door of the apartment was open, and I didn't see any more smoke, nor did it look to be on fire.
After this fucked up night (which is hardly over yet at ~7AM), I'm unable to fall asleep anymore. So, here I am, writing this dull story... Maybe I will ring the door bell of the apartment below later and ask whoever bonehead lives there why he/she ruined my night...

About two months ago, my friend applied for a job at this grocery chain (Sobeys). I don't know what happened, but he got taken ON THE SPOT! By that, I mean he handed the manager the application form, and bam, he's in.
I applied almost a month ago, and I'm still sitting here waiting. This has nothing to do with the application form because my qualifications are far superior. My friend even told me what he wrote on his form. When I talked to the manager, he said he'll contact me when there's an opening.
Now, here is the part that pisses me off. This other guy I know applied there couple days after me. He got taken within a week. WTF? Again, this has nothing to do with qualifications because we're all just students. This is damn ridiculous.

This friday, we were suppose to go to rafting as an activity for our last year, but it got cancel because not enough people signed up. So, we decided to go to La Ronde (an amusement park). We asked our new principal, if we could. She said yes as long as a parent calls to tell her that we wont show up to school.
Today, that fucking fat bitch, came to us and she said that who ever doenst show up to school is getting kicked out. We were pissed. I mean, she said that we could, now she says no. WTF?!?!?! Some kids are saying that she cant kick us out, there is like 20 days left until the school ends.
I told my parents since last week that I was going to La Ronde and they said maybe as long as the school lets. I told them yes. But now the school changes its mind. I dont know if I should go have fun on Friday, face the consequences of get kicked out and then my parents not trusting me anymore, or go to school and be the only person that showed up to school but be a little angel to my parents and that fucking bitch.
Fuck that bitch liar. She should burn to hell with the school.
