It pays to be altruistic. Literally.
I was driving home tonight and saw the Rottweilers who attacked my dog a few months ago wandering around the street. I wrestled with the idea of letting them run off and hopefully get run over for a while before I decided to let the owners know they had gotten out.
He was grateful that I told him and payed our dog's vet bill on the spot. He had originally refused to pay, and my mom was in the middle of taking him to court over it. I just saved everyone a lot of money and hassle.

A few of my students were actually really upset and got mad at me for "killing" him (some other kid drew the skull and crossbones).
I received the email notification informing me that I've been selected for the Tokyo Marathon next Feb! :)

There's a selection process for running a marathon? I imagined they'd need all the participants they could get. Not that many people want to run that many miles. Either way, good luck on the run Psyke. Is it your first full marathon?
It would be my 4th by then. Going for my 3rd this coming Dec. It's actually more of a lottery system than a selection one, since there's only 35,000 slots and over 350,000 applications world wide.....

Yup there is but only the elite runners can have a shot at that. I'm not sure what are the requirements but they did require you to submit your race history..... :p
I just found out that I can move a 2 hours class from sunday to monday, and by that, clear up sunday from my schedule.
It's going to save me money and more importantly, I could still work part time.
