What an unbelievable clusterfuck of events lol
It certainly felt like two to three eps of material compressed into one episode. I have to confess I'm not really sure what the heck the sword dude was talking about after Sai appeared. Sai's method of travelling certainly came out of nowhere. First he was desperately telling Korone to transport him and when that failed he simply used a never seen before portal technique as casually as if he had been using it all along.
There were some good parts as well. I liked the first half of the episode just fine, until the bedroom scene with Junko. There was something off with that as well, like something sacrified to the hurried plot development, but I guess it can't be helped. With only three eps left and the main plot apparently only now really launching, they can't dwell too long on a maiden's wounded heart.
Still, Sai and Junko would be my favorite pair. I just can't bring myself to like Keina at all. And Korone is a robot.
Sai: Korone teleport me!
Korone: No, instead I'll let you deactivate me.
Sai:Okay whatever! I'll just teleport myself through a tree!
Lol that was a love confession no matter how you look at it, Sai is now officially a playah
Dang the green haired chick is an uber bitch, Junko needs to use tha sacred sword to carve her a new asshole
Well anyway that was oodles of awesome, proof that structure of plot is a non requirement in the making of a fun anime
POWER OF LOOOOOOOOOVE
The gar was over 9 thousand O_o
The last episodes of this show were legendarily rushed, there's no denying that. This final episode, once again, had scene that made me feel like whole episodes were skipped. The blond guy with the big sword, whatever was his name, would have sorely required a major backstory, as well as Keena, whose whatever connection to the other time traveller (or something) was left unbelievably flimsy.
If Akuto and Peterhausen didn't kick so much ass this series would have been a grand disaster. Junko still remained my favorite of the harem girls. Keena got a bit more development, but it was such train wreck development with these episodes that only a transportation safety board's chairman would like her more because of it.
Twas awesome, enough said
Yeah it felt rushed indeed. Sad too, because I really liked the characters.
Despite being rushed in terms of the plot, it was probably one of the best rush job I've seen. Sure, it was abrupt, completely came out of nowhere, but it was very successful.
Pretty much every character got to shine. Etou finally got her moment proving very effective that one episode, and her being very disappointed that he was no longer recognized as the demon lord was perfect. Hattori got to make her confession and be all badass and deredere at the same time. The student president got her moment. Keena I was never really fond of, but she got some much needed development to resolve the mysteries around her.
So the ending was effective, if a little too fast at times to make any sense.
