Oh, regarding the fact that Freedom is still nuclear (was mentioned somewhere in here) in episode 37, you'll notice when AA is backing up into dock one of the announcements deals with radiation control unit.... for this reason alone I speculate that the N-Jammer Canceller onboard Freedom is still intact and salvagable/usable.
YES! Usable N-Jammer Cancellers are good things. Maybe either Strike-R or Cagalli's new suit will be gettin the ole' Infinite Power trick.Quote:

Orb could certainly use an edge, because Destiny is going to be unstoppable.
Im thinking in order to make Kira "The Ultimate Coordinator" is someone he loves die... otherwise he would never kill anyone nor would he go "berserk" now would he?

lacus is not going to died, this weeks newtype its not even up to episode 42, he was bullshiting about lacus dieing in episode 42.
kira doesn't have to go berserk for him to be a ultimate coordinator, he is wut he is..
(an ultimate coordinator by birth) all he needs is seed mode and concentrate more. anger does make people stronger in a way because it helps u focus and concentrate....but not really..., and.. it was said that Freedom cant unleash Kira's true potential. even tho its a strong mobile, it still limits him.

Well, the Freedom wasn't made for Kira but for some average coordinator so it would make sense.
So far there hasn't been a gundam that was crafted with his superior abilities in mind....but soon there will.
Also Freedom focuses on speed and heavy long range weaponry, good for taking down small armies before they can react...but that's not really his thing anymore. A good opponent won't let him use those wing cannons and he'll be left with just a saber and rifle...
sorry its from a chat room i heard, which he explained and read from sites. and Strike is more of a hand to hand combat mobile, freedom has less weapons to work with, and i bleieve if kira had Strike, it would be able to take down impulse, since Strike is a pure hand to hand combat mobiles.
Kira couldn't have beaten Impulse if he was piloting Strike or another mobile suit. Even if Shinn wasn't piloting Impulse. Athrun or Rey could likely have beaten Kira if they were in Impulse for that battle. The reason being Kira had no intent to kill and only planned to disable the mobile suit. Shinn knew this and anticipated each of these disabling attacks. Had Shinn been in any other suit it would of been over a third of the way in when the head and arm were taken off. Kira might of been able to disable the core splendor but thats risky also he didn't know about it till it was too late. It was a brilliant tactic. Many people here know it was abused and it really doesnt show they two pilots true abilities or strength. But we'll get to see that in the coming eps hopefully once Kira arrives to save Cagalli with his new sword.
Destiny was built with Shinn's abilities and skills in mind. His awesome reflexes and quick thinking. The speed of Destiny is unmatched by anything we've seen so far. But what if the new Strike Freedom is built with Kira's abilities in mind. A suit that will not limit his capabilities. His spatial awareness has constantly been improving since the later half of SEED. Now he has a suit with an even greater defensive ability. More firepower, wider range of weaponry. And the suit has a newer power source to boot. I have a feeling this new power source is due to the fact that ZAFT has the stampeder which makes all things nuclear explode.
is that fact or speculation? because when they fired the stampeder,yes at the beginning of Destiny, the mobile suits in flight had already fired their nuclear missiles but still explodedQuote:

true that kira would have lost because he doesnt wanna kill but had the battle be with strike and without kira's no killing policy shinn wouldnt be around anymore. though freedom is an impressive mobile suit strike gundam when first piloted by kira after gaining seed was unstopable. if you compare shinn's record with impluse to kira's with strike you'll notice this kira schools him no ifs, ands, or buts. after watching numerous battles that took place in GS i remember why kira is one of the best pilots ever produced. looking at shinn developement with impluse leads me to believe he has a very long way to go even with destiny.
for those people who wanna argue with what i just said, try commenting after watching these episodes of GS and you'll see my point : 18, 21, 29 in these 3 episodes kira did more with strike than shinn ever did with impluse imo

He's got you there. Athrun pulled out a suicide attack that caught Kira off guard. This happened aways back. Now it seems that Kira's abilities have constantly been improving while with Athrun we're not even sure if he can harness the power of his SEED anymore. Hopefully he'll catch up somewhat to Kira. But unless Athrun somehow gains a greater spatial awareness I think Kira will be slightly better. Now that Athrun has seen the light thou we won't see those two fight eachother.
I can't wait to see them working together thou. They work together better than Athrun did with Yzak and Dearka. That Orb battle was awesome and then in space was great. One of my favorite scenes in SEED was when Freedom stood atop of Justice and they did that group attack. I should see if I can manage a screencap that was awesome.
that is true but what i said was in terms of comparing impluse to strike, and naturally the only person who could stop him would be asuran thats another good ms pilot but those bastards dont give em time to show case his abillites.Quote:
