WINGS OF WORDS is so damn stupid. How is it a good song? Maybe the guys who voted for it have been listening to it too much and i guess you can say they have developed a taste for it. You need to listen to broader category of music before you can really compare. i mean come on!!!!

wings of words is a weird and unsual song for an opening, yet, although it's not good and not so bad, it's sorta hypnotizing. it just keeps making me put it on repeat, so i can hear it over and over again.
I donm't think Wings of Words is a bad song, just ill-placed.
I WAS going to say the it's anti-climatic for the last few action-packed SEED is known for, GSD is apparently taking an entirely different path. So It's almost fitting... almost...
People please specifically read the details of this poll, BEST OPENING, this is not just the song, but also the animation that went along with it, which is where Wings of Words the OP loses, as it re-uses tons of scenes.
I voted PRIDE (second opening) because the song is damn good, it get's you pumped up and flows perfectly with the animation of that opening. I love the part where Saviour Gundam poses with Athrun in a ZAFT suit raises his hands in the background, then you see the Destiny Gundam all darkned rushing towards the Destroy Gundam along with Kira's FREEDOM, Kira and Shinn face to face.
For me PRIDE is the best opening song of all the SEED saga.
Anybody thinking that "Wings of Shit" is a good opening should be shot immediatly !
I've never seen such an ill-placed song, I mean MY GOD it's ugly ! "Wings of Shit" is more fitted for a slow-mo Jazz club song.
