Shin Megami Tensei - Nocturne.
It's pretty damned awesome, lemme tell you. I hear Digital Devil Saga is even better though.
If you like demons, and fusing them into other demons, unique creature design, interesting gameplay mechanics and long-term character building RPG's, then SMT: Nocturne is your game. Highly recommended.

SMT - Nocturne is for PS2. It's a console series :-p.
I can't imagine playing a game like this for that many hours on a PC.
