Who knows? Finals are coming up for many universities/colleges, so they might be busy preparing for those.
Maybe thats the reason theyre taking so much time. Animes are released far too slowly in my opinion, but I guess its not easy at all to sub and Im sure everyones doing their best. Nevermind, hope they release it before the end of this weak.
Heh. You know, if the release of this episode is delayed, it could mean that the next episode would be released that much sooner in relation to this one... Of course it doesn't automatically mean that, but it would be possible. So, theoretically, the next wait could be much shorter.
mmmmm....not sure what you say is true. Still, its a possibility, a way of seeing the positive side of a problem. Im not that kind of person though, always see the most negative, darkest side of everything .
As someone currently <sarcasm>enjoying</sarcasm> the pre-finals crunch, where they load us college students with an abhorrent number of projects that could've (and should've) been assigned weeks ago, and suffer the dreaded 3rd midterm a week and a half before finals (I'm not kidding, I have it tomorrow), any subber that states that they will be delayed due to exams has my sympathy.
Anyone who still thinks that episodes should be released on time, needs to wait the 7 years until they get to college age to understand this.
So everyone, good luck on finals, and take your time on subbing series like Suzuka, quality is appreciated by those who have responsibilites.
I already finished college so I fully understand the situation. Theres no rush anyway, subbers can take their time if they need to. There are more important things in life than anime. Gambate
yes..with free subs they can take all the time they need, since thier nice enough to sub them for free
Episode 21 - Lunar
Well, it's here.
took them long enough
This was a very good episode. I knew things would get rolling again when Yamato can start to talk (or argue) with Asahina again. The dynamics of this series just skyrocketed. And Yamato got a real energy burst. After the dullness that started with the Honoka relationship (and ended fortunately), things are again looking very promising. Jolly good.
This is what keeps this show afloat and running!

great eps Asahina knows the truth
yeah...it's good that suzuka knows the truth....now things are getting more interesting
5 more eps to the result or few eps ^_^
Good to see that Suzuka and Akitsuki are on neutral or friendly grounds again. Hehe, it's funny how Akitsuki analyzed her character like he did, yet he admited that he still liked her.
Only 5 episodes, wow, that was really fast.
Woot! looks like were going to see akitsuki in action on the track again too. I'm excited to see what they are going to do with the remaining episodes.
this time he might pawn the goody-good too shoe
Now everythings going fine. Lets wait till the next episode. Honoka is sure gonna complicate things....aare are....mendocsai
Episode 22 =) Downloading now.
Lunar-Ep 22
Heh. I did say it's possible that the next wait could be much shorter. See, sometimes it pays off to be optimistic!
wow already 22
my com blowed up...no anime for now
A decent episode. Felt kind of like an interlude without anything really remarkable happening, but on the other hand, without episodes like this, nothing bigger could really happen in the future either. But at least Yamato seems to look straight ahead from now on.
Youre right. ha ha, guess I really should be more optimistic. Downloading right now.Quote:

I don't know where you get this idea from, because three really important things happened in this eps.Quote:

The Kazuki-Suzuka connection was put out there by an independent party, Miyamoto-sempai, proving it actually wasn't just in Yamato's head.
Yamato finally has a goal, to be number one in Japan and outshine Kazuki in Suzuka's heart, since at the time he [Kazuki] was the best, and it's really hard to outdo someone who's dead.
Suzuka is starting to notice Yamato's new intensity, and it's really confusing and flustering her, something that hasn't happened in some time (Since the time he started going out with Honoka).
Hmm... Didn't Suzuka's sister (or whoever that woman was that Yamato met when he tried to go to see Asahina) tell him something about the dead guy? Wasn't that the way Yamato was able to see Asahina at the grave yard? I don't remember the details anymore, though, so I could remember something wrong.
What comes to your second point, that's what I meant when I said he's at least looking straight ahead for now, instead of just endlessly pondering what to do, and thus in the end not able to do anything at all.
And your third point starts with "starting to notice", which basically means just what I said: Without episodes like this, nothing bigger could happen in the future.
Suzuka's sister did tell Yamato, which is how he knew about the Kazuki issue, but a lot of viewers could take his feeling inferior to him being some misunderstanding he thought up after being rejected and then trying to figure out why.
Now that someone else talked about it, and that she probably loved him, it's more of an issue than it was before. Also Hattori knows about it now, which will explain a lot of Yamato's actions to him.
I thought those other two things were pretty remarkable, and your post came off as if you felt nothing had happened at all in that eps. Misunderstanding on my part.
What I'm wondering is if Akitsuki will tell Asahina his reason for wanting to be number one. And if he does, will she be flattered or irritated, regardless of her blatant love for Akitsuki.
She'll probably do the usual: criticize Akitsuki for doing a reckless thing, but actually finds it... nice?
I think suzuka is starting to forget about that other guy. Shes now really in love with akitsuki although he always reminds her of that dead guy, thats inevitable, you never forget your " first love". Akitsukis attitude has gotten quite serious, that attracts Suzuka even more. Shes really harsh when she opens that mouth of hers but shes also really caring deep inside. As I said Honokas gonna creat some problems.
All is well, because Yamato has demonstrated he can easily daydream through Asahina's outbursts. Such a nice and working couple.Quote:

heh, so true. Yamato has also gotten increasingly good with his personality analysis skills while he is under assault.
Nice way to put it. Theyre gonna end up as a couple, thats for sure. Lets see whats Asahinas next move coz its her turn. Yamato has already made a big step towards victory.Quote:

when the coach was pulling Akitsuki pants, it didnt look right...
we will get another episode subbed soon...
lol royale...it's quite disturbing
hope so
count down 4 more eps
finally...
so 3 more episodes huh....
*downloading*
Not a terribly eventful episode, but a few things did happen. However, based on the preview, the next episode certainly should be much more exciting. Still, there was a very appropriate choice of background music for the very ending of the actual episode. Caught my attention in a positive manner.
Heh, Asahina sure knows how to give positive and encouraging feedback...
i cant wait for more...
you mean the background music when suzuka grabs yamato's shirt? i like that.
edit: ok...im wrong
Nah. I meant the very ending at the stadium. There was no conversation anymore. Yamato was tying his shoe laces, Asahina was stretching. That kind of music gave the impression something important and momentous was going to happen.
The beginning and middle of that music was great, but the ending part was..... a lil too much, making it sound corny. Regardless, it'll be interesting to see what he can pull off
i like the background song when they display a sad character...
Tooi Hi no Kizuato (Piano)... peaceful song
Lunar got fast with Suzuka
Suzuka 24
It's out..
I had a feeling he would screw up... but not THIS badly. Ouch, must be a huge blow to him.
Now Suzuka is getting all moody. I wanna know badly what she will do now...
second last...
I figure you guys can enjoy a long post of mine on the last eps, so here goes.
I still think a large part of Yamato's desire to be number 1 in track was to come out of Kazuki's shadow. Or rather, to get Suzuka out from Kazuki's shadow. Though she and everyone deny it, she's still hung up on answering Kazuki, so much so that she can't move on. She wasn't able to tell him how she truly felt before he died, and its prevented her from, cliche as it sounds, looking for love.
Yamato has come closer than anyone to breaking that before, noted by how irriated she gets whenever he's around. She doesn't want to move on, but Yamato is forcing her, and that's what irritates her.
The times when he comes close to breaking her away from Kazuki's ghost completely, the theme park at the beginning, the bellflower confession, the multiple other confessions, she gets flashbacks of Kazuki and pulls back or runs away back underneath his shadow. There, she won't ever have to accept the feelings of others, because she still hasn't gotten over her own from years ago.
This problem became obvious to everyone because Yamato (unknowingly) put the same conditions on his recent confession that Kazuki did. Maybe Suzuka never realized she was doing all this association before, but she sure does now. Which is why she ran away. She's finally started to like Yamato, pulling herself out from Kazuki's shadow as Yamato begins to eclipse him, but that perfectly mirrored confession gives Suzuka the same fear that Kazuki's legacy leaves, that she may not be able to answer Yamato before its too late. The parallel is too vivid for her now, and she can't take it.
As for Yamato, he didn't screw this one up, since he didn't realize how exact his recent confession paralleled Kazuki's. So maybe it wasn't Yamato all along after all....
At least that's my take on it given what happened in this eps.
suzuka 25
enjoy!
Quite an ending in this ep. It's hard to predict what exactly is going to happen in the next episode, despite the preview, but the story certainly seems to be picking up some traditional traits.
next is last eps right?
Im with Karco, cant predict the ending
It's out:
Lunar - Suzuka 26(Final)
yippe ^_^
HOLY SHEET...
Woot, it's finally over. 85% goddamn it!
Time for me to get disappointed or not
It was a decent ending to say the least. I'm very pleased with this series.
same as you, pleasedQuote:

wootz....great ending...
there goes our awesome anime... =(
Suzuka 1-26 (end) torrent
Alright we definatly need a sequal to this. Then ending was great and really resolved a couple of the things but overall they have WAY to much left completely unanswered at this point. *continues searching for the manga*
It was a nice and elegant ending, and finely consistent with the rest of the series. A good ending for a good series.
Well, once again one era is over, when there is no weekly Suzuka to wait for.
Nice ending but I think it defenetly deserves a sequal at least a couple of OVAs to see if Yamato actually get any better at running
Holy shyt, Omg, Too slow, I'm going ot kill Verizon, why torture me like this, all I want to do is see the end.........At least everyone says the ending good, I'm gonna miss this anime.....10/10!! T-T
Definitely a good ending, and like what nests said, the show can use a couple of OVAs to see what happens between the two of them.
Holy crap, beautiful, 10/10, recommend this anime to everyone!! Ending was kool. I'm going to miss this anime.........
how about an OVA to show yamato owning arima's ass
I just started watching this the other day... already up to episode 11... This is a pretty good series, I'm liking it a lot... Hopefully the rest of the episodes will be just as good...
Don't worry. The quality is consistent throughout the series. It won't let you down. This isn't really one of those series that surprises you time after time, but like you said, it's pretty good otherwise.
The show will be good indeed. The ending was good, but I would have liked it they included a bit more info about the other characters 2, but I guess that's what the OVA"S are for *X_X*
Alright, just finished watching the series...
Loved the ending, especially liked how Suzuka finally replied to Tsuna... saying that she won't be able to go out with him...
I was hoping for Yamato's friend to get together with the other track and field girl... I'm pretty sure they had some sort of history together, but it was only hinted, I wish it was explained more...
As many of you have said, I hope an OVA or something is in the making... I think this series would've been even better if it had included a bit more of track and field matches and stuff, it certainly was one of the most intriguing aspects of the story...
Anyways, anyone knows what manga chapter the anime ending can be found? Or was that portion anime original? Or can someone tell me how faithful the whole anime was to the manga if you know?
Well, I just finished the anime today in 2 days and I got the manga. It left off I think at ch 73. Manga is still going and you can get it at http://www.chromasubs.com/
Alright, cool... thanks...
Any major changes anyone has noticed from the manga to anime? If not, let me know so I can start reading the manga from chapter 73 as suggested...
Only thing I noticed was that theres a hole in the wall between Akitsuki's and Suzuka's room. There wasn't one in the anime .
BTW, there's a manga thread already created so we should continue discussing the manga there...
http://forums.gotwoot.net/mess...=33&threadid=16247
great anime, i d/l all 26 esp and stayed up all night watched them, one of the best series in my book.
if anyone know any great romantic comedy anime like this one plz recommend. ty in advance
loved the ending. just finished reading the manga too. I think I prefer the manga, i recomend it, the stoey continues and the quality is consistent as mentioned somewhere.
gosh, i liked the series so much i rewatched it lol
i hope i'm not the only odd man out. i didn't like it, it was a bad series & especially the last part of the series. it was repetitive & very predictable. very unrealistic at most times. lots of stupidity in it. has a lot of bad lessons & unmoral lessons. had a lot of awkward scenario & situations. ending was not supported (with a better reason), very contradicting, & unconvincing. nothing convincing for the series to end that way.
i liked the first 5 to 7 episodes of suzuka; then started hating it especially the main guy character "yamato". in my opinion, he is the worst character ever created in any series & movie (live-action & anime/cartoon); he is a very annoying, stupid, selfish, obstinate, egotistic, irresponsible, bull-headed, whiny, wimpy, impulsive, indecisive, irrational, senseless, hot-tempered, obsessive-compulsive, disrespectful character. he never cared about others feelings, has no ethic, no manners, just did what he wanted, forced thru his expectations. everything just favored yamato, all other characters just favored & helped him. not even a good side of him (that mattered) was shown; his kindness was fake.
i started liking episodes 14 to 19; then again after that it went downhill til the end.
the last part of the series just ruined the whole series. it's one of the worst series i've ever watched.
don't know if the manga is consistent & if the series really stayed true to the manga & followed everything (all the scenes & scenario) in the manga. coz i really believed that it could have been better had they edited some parts, scenario & scenes of the series. & showed better side of yamato. coz he is really a bad character.
i plan on reading the manga just to see what happens in the end, & hoping that it could somehow make it better & convice me about the things that happened in the series, and lessen the despise i have for the series. i hope the manga is better.
While I'm not disregarding your opinion, I'm pretty much forced to draw the conclusion you are one of those people who prefer silky smooth flow of the story and characters automatically compatible with each other.
However, this series, Suzuka, didn't have much else than the main character and a few girls. I hoped the sports would have played a greater role, but it didn't end up that way. Instead it was just a story of less than perfect people and their not so smooth relationships. And if you seriously think Yamato is the worst character in anime, I'm inclined to think the number of animes you have watched can be counted with the digits of one hand...
But there's nothing wrong with your necromancer's skills... :p
^now ppl look, Suzuka was meant to be an anime portrayal of realistic romance. Its pretty real for one part and it is possible such relationships happen to ppl around you in life. If you pretty much like a spicy romance story with unique characters and unique plots, i encourage you to go for Love Hina instead...Quote:

This is not a sports anime...and if you are looking for sports anime, u may wanna look for Captain Tsubasa or something else.
One more thing is that as an anime viewer one should be critising about the anime based on its genre. If Suzuka fails as an anime from the romance genre in your opinion for some particular reason, then i think the argument would be valid. I dunno, but the user above has just stated a few typical characteristics of the common men on the road...if you have read the famous book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, i don't see what's wrong with the characteristics of Yamato. Like what Kraco has said, i would like to add further. If you so desire an anime which goes in the order which you desire, you can:
1) Jumble up the order with which you watch the anime (Why not watch the last episode first? For those who watched Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu you know where i'm getting at)
2) Join an existing anime entertainment group like Ganeon Entertainment etc. and make your own
3) Form your own anime entertainment group
Watch the series in it's entirety, then wait 3 months and see what you think of it then.
We all hated Yamato while we watched the series. It's hard not to considering all the stupid things he does. Suzuka is a huge bitch through most of the series. But, that's really her character. It's called Tsundere (see wiki for details). It's really one of the more realistic romance animes. Real life romance is not perfect like so many anime's display. The female lead (in the imaginary real life drama) is rarely so selflessly devoted to the protagonist. Suzuka loves a dead guy. To her, he's perfect. It becomes very difficult for Yamato to surpass him, but that's exactly what he tries, and eventually it works. As for Suzuka, she gets jealous of Honoka taking away Yamato's singular focus on her, and in ways attempts to sabotage their relationship. Honoka's character has no self-esteem and gets jealous of Yamato's proximity to Suzuka eventually leading to their breakup. Honoka also loses her near-angelic calm and berates Suzuka for being a heartless, selfish bitch. It's wonderful.
Yamato's most noteworthy characteristic is his determination. Suzuka is a harem series, but for the most part, Yamato doesn't play the field and date every girl in the series. He dates only two in the course of the anime. Even when he's dating Honoka, he only sees Suzuka. There is never any significant wishy-washiness about who to end up with. It's implied that he only accepted Honoka's confession due to shock. Believe it or not, that's incredibly rare.
Watch the series again, and take a deeper look at the character developments. It's rather comprehensive, and more realistic than "Wishy-washy idiot gets with angelic, selfless, childhood-friend-turned-beauty after sifting through countless other girls swarming him" series. Then wait three months and try to take a deeper look at each of the characters. I did, and stopped hating Suzuka and the series. Real romance is never smooth, and Suzuka displays it in a fairly accurate manner.
NOTE: The manga is nearly exactly the same. Minor differences such as a hole between their rooms, changes in plot that don't change anything overall, more ecchi and nudity, and plot points inserted so they can be reintroduced later (how Honoka deals with their break-up).
The relationship in the manga is as rocky as the series, and it seems to be continuing that way. Yamato's behavior however, continues to impress me.
yup,i entirely agree with you, cos i think some ppl here jump into watching an anime without even reading a sypnosis or without even knowing what to expect...and groan and complain when it sways away from the fantasies that they ever so created in their minds...Quote:
