I've been checking things in the manga in the past few mintues...
in chapter 198, Neji kicks the dust and we see the sun up.
a page later, there's a scene that Kiba says that they getting closer.
a few pages later, we're nearing dusk, and Tayuya says that it's been half a day since thier mission began.
----which is completly crap since they've been in the leaf village for at least 24H, and consider that they had to get to the vilage before.
And we see the moon up.
now to chapter 199 (volume 23), theres a color page (done in the original manga, not by inane) and it's mornning already, meanning that a night passed now.

so my question is "why did Kiba say that they're close if they had to continue chasing for the night (at least 8 hours)?"
if someone actually believes that ninjas, in a middle of a chase (both the chasers and the ones being chased) take a break for the night and camp out, he should be shot for being stupid.

and about the powerlines and telephones: sure, it could be possible, but considering Kakashi gets messages through bird-mail, I refuse to believe it.

Actually that's exactly the reason why.

yea, they were very close but didnt want to attack at night because of the risks, so they stayed just behind them

well death boo they got telephone lines and powerlines they got refrigirators, tvs, radios the whole shit exept cars and guns. kishimoto said in an interveiw that he wanted them to live in a modern society for the expetion of vechiles(sp?) and guns.

i think they didn't want to attack in the night because Shikamaru would have limited use of his techniques (i could be wrong, but i think i heard him say that)... also some other reasons like darkness might hinder their success rate...


anyways i decided to pick up the manga again (since the anime just caught up to were i left off originally)....

All the battles in the middle I have to say that they are crap... Shika's and Kiba's fights are the crappiest battles in all of Naruto... and add to that long as hell...

Kimi didn't look as badass as I expected him to be... he could've done better...

the Sasuke background chapters... long and boring also...

Now... that Naruto vs Sasuke fight was simply nothing less than excellent... everything was excuted very well... and Sasuke winning in the end was the best choice the author could've made...

I'm on chapter 239 at the moment.. i'll catch you guys in a bit...

Shika's battle was gooodd man so strategic. just because it doesn't involve fists doesnt mean its not good... well personally i liked it.

I liked Shika's battle also.

Actually, I didn't mind Kiba's either, because his new move was alright.

kibas got guts, sakon totally didnt expect him to try to kill himself
but still the fights were a bit boring, but i remember the page wen the sand showed up, ah that brought a smile to my face

ok finally cought up... nice little back story on Kakashi... it would be nice to know what actually happened to Rin (probably died or something)....

And what's the deal with the Naruto manga... it seems that it hasn't been released in a while (judging from forum activity)... so can anyone shed some light on why has it stopped being released and since when... (i think i read someone saying that it should be resumed soon)....


seeing a little bit of the 4th in action was nice also...

kishimoto went on a break i think, probably to figure out what the hell he was gonna do with the manga now
