The only way to find out his age is in an outside article in Shonen Jump. When team 7 meets Haku and Zabuza. Haku and Zabuza are at least 40 episodes ago.

the naruto gamecube game says all their ages....i forgot what his is....somewhere between 23-26 years old, the same age as zabuza, and iruka's a year younger

Well in some episodes i noticed a difference in Kakash's face later on in the eps
He started to look older and wrinkly lol

In that episode where he did that rock climbing training he did say he was getting older and stuff

Kakashi's current shape is most likely due to the peacetime in Konoha, he's out of practice with actual life or death combat, and you get hear him say that when he fights Zabuza. Also the fact that he has a hard time with Zabuza is indication that he was distracted and outta practice, after he gets in the swing of things he pummels him pretty easily. Also about the climbing the mountain thing. He does use one hand, but remember, that he has to unlock a gate or two to complete it, and that seemed to suprise him. Maybe before he could do it one hand all the way up without opening any gates. One thing we DO know is that Kakashi is not old, you can check his age in the Gamecube game, Narutoguide.com or the Shonen Jump article the guy was talkin about

Don't go to those sites unless you wanna be spoiled, and please dont post spoiler sites. And last thing, we dont know if he unlocked any gates.. if he did, he only unlocked the first one, cause he said KAI which means open, but that could mean a LOT of things.

Yeah, I think Kakashi just hasn't been training as much as he used to. But he's definitely not old yet. The light grey hair is just his style, just like Jiraiya, whom I assume is quite a bit older than Kakashi, but still seems to have some wicked power...
