i didnt read about that on the forums
Animesuki has Blood+ episode 9 from Shinsen listed...
but the link doesn't seem to work for me...

looks like Shinsens primary torrent tracker is down as of now. No word from their forums or anything on their site... strange because Animesuki lists multilpe uploads and download for episode 9... but i can't even connect to their tracker site
Here's the link if anyone wants to try it

The link is working fine for me.......
Blood+ 09 - Shinsen Subs
that episode smelt fillerish.....not terrible tho... atleast they said somethin about riku's thing for hearin the sounds.. (he did that in an episode awhile back and he could hear the "Chpoltae" beasts ... the Chipperterian... Chlaporter.. ehhwhat ever they are called
Bakakozou has released episode 9
http://a.scarywater.net/bakakozou/
I thought it was introducing the other parallel storyline, that will eventually converge. As said above, we get confirmation that Riku can hear the noises, even though he hasn't been fed any of the drugs. It kinda makes you feel really bad for him though, he just met Mui, starts to like her, and she'll probably end up turning into a Chirtperon (yeah, none of us can spell it). And just when it starts to get intresting there, with the two of them getting kidnapped, we switch back to Saya, who's storyline we wanted to learn more about, only to get stuck with Kai and Riku (the whiners) for this eps.
That's the way to keep us all watching.
c'mon... its CHIROPTERAN... PTERA means wing, CHIRO means... i forgot... their bats!
anyways... ok episode... can appreciate the art i guess!
I bet you looked it up....
If not, I'm impressed. I've seen it so many times and I still can't remember.
eh this episode was ok. I liked how Mui's brother was just laying the landmines in piles.
Question, is Trinity Blood linked with Blood+? Because I see that Shinsen subs for both of them, so is one like a prequel or a sequel to the other? If so, which do I need to watch first?
Two different anime series.
you probably dont want to put it as a dicussion until a sub is out
OR we could have a discussion about how the raw is not subbed .. thus we are talking about the sub (which does not exist yet) and hence discussing it......................
Or, we could not for two reasons:
1. Discussions about the raw not being subbed are annoying
2. Shinsen released the sub.
Blood+ - 13
omfg Phoenix, posted the link right b4 me!!!!!
Already posted it guys.
EDIT: And I posted it a WHOLE hour before Phoenix. Booya!
EDIT2: @Phoenix Yeah, but if I could post them all in the first post, just let me. So the rest of the topic is clean and full of opinions about the current episode. ^_^
No one looks at the first post for recent releases, so it doesn't matter
Just watched it. Probably the best episode yet, in my opinion. Filled with Action, Drama, and even more Mystery as to what the heck is going to happen next. All in all, it was an epsiode that was well worth loosing twenty-five minutes of sleep over.
Looks like the series is going back to the slow episodes again, starting with episode 14 next week. I really hope they don't let the action and plot just drop back down to a crawl again.
Oh, I also have a question about the episode...
[Episode 13 Spoilers Below]
When Kai entered the room where Saya was slaying what was left of those demonic-children, notice he saw Spencer (the guy with blonde hair) dead on the ground. I'm wondering, did Saya or the demonic-children kill him? It's probably meant to be evident that Saya killed him, but what do you guys think?
So many more questions now. Did they get that other container, and what was in it? Why didn't Saya take out David if she was killing everyone in the room? Actually falling from a helicopter 40+ ft in the air that had just been hit by a rocket, landing on essentially one foot, and the being able to stand up says to me that maybe he's immortal or something, maybe just plot device immortal, but immortal none the less. Hope there isn't going to be a long break from the main story, I must know what's going on.
Get used to not getting answeres for 2-3 episodes for particular question. Hopefully next episode will answer some questions about Saya from David point of view. As for him to be immortal i don't think so. But he does have a damn good luck, he may be little more then regular human. It looks like candy-man doesn't knows what he got himself into or who he works with.
Its a shame ..... oh well If only the sub didn;t get realased then we coudl try to have a conversaion about how subs not being subbed conversations are annoying and they shouln;t be had but people have them anywayQuote:

Blood+ - 13
so... Haji can transform into a monster... and so can the blond guy i guess... and the french guy is not a chiropteron... its interesting seeing him like this, not knowing what the hell is going on!
EDIT: you posted THREE different raws????
It would be pointless to post the same raw three different times wouldn't it?
Maybe some people only want a RAW episode from a specific kind of fansub group. Anyway, it's pointless to make a big deal out of it. I just decided to post any video that relates to Blood+ 13.
what heartless bastards they were... I think Saya was a chiropetran slayer back in the Vietnam War, its just when she got out of hand, she slayed everyone in sight. The other guys are trying to turn everyone in to chiropetrans? The second helicopter was a decoy, they expected something like that to happen. Diva is some crazy monster.
Yeah, looks that way. It just made me sick when I realized that those actually used to be real children. It was just so plain wrong, has an Anime ever done something like this before? Even when they were killing them, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the kids.
I felt really sorry for Mui, I hope she is going to be ok. She probably will though, if she hasn't fully turned, then we might be able to see her again in later episodes.
Diva is either going to be the final enemy Saya is going to have to take down, or maybe just a glimpse of what the true evil behind all this is like. I don't know, but this series is starting to look very interesting. ^_^

Actually I was being sarcastic, I could care less what they did to the children. It wouldve been cool to see Mui eat Riku or Kai.
I suspect Diva actually resembles Saya. There was that brief flash in this eps where they showed another girl with long hair on a blue backgroud. It looked a lot like Saya when she came out of the tomb, but it was definitely not her.
Diva sings, and its name is "diva." That's my thought progression anyway.
like a counter part? interesting theory.Quote:

I was thinking that, you know, Saya it he "good one", and Diva is the "bad one". But then I thought, naw. It's already been done, but hell, maybe they'll do it again and throw some spice in there.
Original vampires are usually closely related, so it shouldn't be much a surprise if both of them are related somehow...
Bakakozu has released episode 13
Blood + Episode 13, Bakakozou
They also have a batch of episodes 1-12 available for download, FYI
This was the best episode so far. I'm just waiting for Haji to transform in to a beast, that would be so cool. Finally Saya went berserk, but we didn't get to see it.
*Supid theory time* Yay! It's been a long time since I did one of these.
Diva and Saya might have been one being back in the vietnam war or whatever is shown in all those slaughter flash-backs. Then we don't know exactly what happened, but Diva got sealed or captured or something.
There are a number of ways that Diva and Saya could have been separated.
1. Saya was exorcised from Diva in order to create a being that is pure evil.
2. Diva "spawned" Saya when she got captured.
3. Saya was the original and cast out Diva from her body so she would gain control over the body.
Some other theories that don't build on them being one being to begin with.
4. Saya is a (failed) clone of Diva.
5. Diva and Saya are the (twin) daughters of some vampire overlord.
6. Saya is Diva's daughter.
so... if Diva is another vampire (i think so)... do you think they'll introduce even more of them? that would be interesting...
(btw i wasn't makign a fuss about the raws... just finding it interesting)
If this series is really extended from the movie then Saya is supposed to be the only 'original' left. I assume that means original vampire, but movie David could have been wrong. It would make sense for Diva to be another true vampire from her effects on the other creatures, though come to think of it neither Saya nor the Phantom and his buddies really act like any vamipres or blood drinking fiends i've heard of, maybe only the monsters forms need to drink blood, but then what's up with the others, what are they? and what do they want? So many puzzles in this anime, I hope the story unfolds well...
After a long break Live Evil is back subbing Blood+
They only are up to Episode 7 though, so it'll be awhile before they catch up. Personally, however, I'm content with Bakakozou's products...
Blood+ - Episode 7 - Live Evil
If you are worrying about archiving the series, you are better off with Anime-Kraze... We are not that far away before this series gets licensed, plus Anime-Kraze has the best release...
They discontinued subbing the series.Quote:

Another one bites the dust
Read article
Damn. Well Im sure there will still be subbers.
How in the hell did Blood+ get licensed?! My god, I thought that this series would be the special one that wouldn't get licensed. >_<
I would just love to see them try to broadcast Blood+ on Cartoon Network or Adult Swim, they would have to cut out nearly every action scene. XD
I still don't get why Bleach isn't licenced.
Same reason Naruto took so long to get taken. The franchise is large enough to make the license really expensive.
Great, another one gets licenced. Is it me or is this happening a little more fequently now?
Bloody hell, that sucks. Hopefully, a fansub will still get the job done.
Shinsen-subs has decided to stop subbing Blood+

Contrary to posts from elsewhere on the forums, Shinsen-subs has decided to drop Blood+.
This is solely my decision as translator of the series. A majority of the rest of the group opposes it, but I feel that Sony is unlikely to display the same restraint as Funimation or Bandai, and that exposing myself, my family, and the rest of the Blood+ team to legal risk is foolishness. For all the talk of Funi's "high-handedness", none of us were sued, and indeed in the entire history of fansubbing, nobody has been. I believe that this is because the anime companies that we know and love are all closely involved with the community, and have far too much to lose through legal methods when a simple C&D letter would suffice. I also believe that this is not true of Sony.
Just to clarify, here's what this does NOT mean:
SHS has NOT recieved any notice from Sony.
SHS has NOT suddenly switched to an unliscenced-only group.
As this is my decision and not the groups, the forum is an inappropriate place to register any complaints you may have. I can be contacted at sairai_x@hotmail.com, or via the PM button in the forum.
We hope you've enjoyed this series so far, and that you'll continue to enjoy our other releases.
noo!!! no more fast releases! So Anime-Kraze and Shinsen are gone, so that means Bakakozu will have to fill in.
Live-Evil's gonna drop it also
For the love of God!! If Baka drops it too, we're screwed. >_<
Oh boy......... this doesn't look good at all..........
So far, they say that they don't have any comments about the licensing.
Meh, the show isn't that good anyway. I was about to stop watching it anyway.
It's at eps 14 of 50. Some people said the same thing about Eureka 7 and Bleach as I recall. (Bleach 14 was around the time Ichigo fought the Menos, and after that everyone was like "OMFG!!Z this series iz teh bestest!!" where before many were still deciding if it was worth it. After that eps, the fanbase seemed to double or even triple.)
It just needed time to develop, which unfortunately it didn't get.
I meant that if they are going to stop sometime. It's better now before it has become an addiction.
By the way, it's going to be 52 eps.
Not what it sounded like to me, but whatever.Quote:

Which is better Shinsen or Bakaozou?
Doesn't really matter much now does it?
Both groups are decent, I just dislike the size of Bakakozou's encodes. Very unfriendly to my bandwidth. The translations are as good if not slightly better than Shinsen's (since Shinsen's translators tend to take liberties from time to time with them).
And, it REALLY doesn't matter as this is the latest out of Shinsen (borrowed from the Blood + Licensed by Sony thread, posted by nests)Quote:

I like how there are parallel storylines to the main one. It adds an aspect where Saya and Red Shield can be off in Russia tracking Diva (or trying to) while the Reporter and Mao, confirmed as a Yakuza Ojou, track the business end of it from France.
It should make it easier for the two stories to make a complete picture of what's been going on for the past 30-40 years since the first movie. As well as hopefully finally figuring out Saya's origin as a vampire.
Yea... I actually liked that episode, with the "detective work" style of things... pretty neat.
also, it has never been stated explicitly, in the movie or the show that she was a vampire no?
The other David (at least I assumed it's a different one now, 30+ years) said:
"Don't ever piss her off again. As far as we know, she's only remaining original!"
That, coupled with the title of the movie, gives that impression. There is a final photo labeled [Vampire] of her from 1892 at the end of the movie, which coincides with her memories of a garden castle in the series (clothes are the same style as the photo I believe). As for the series, she also has tiny fangs (that you don't ever really get a good look at in the movie, but I think you can see them in the fire before seconds before she gets the sword; about 34 min in), got regular infusions of blood from Julia (in the first several eps), and there are other hints here and there.
It's never explicitly said, but it's implied implicitly a lot.
After this episode, I love the Mao character...
I also found it awesome that when Mao and the reporter are talking in the dinner, the guy who was following the reporter passes infront of their table with the wine in his hand, and then you can see him drive off through the window... I found those little tidbits well done...
I noticed the guy passing by them with the wine, but not the driving off part. Haha, that part cracked me up, especially after they showed the ransacked office.
Man, that girl has quite an obsession with Kai. I don't think there would be anybody at that age who would go that far.
The reporter has the same voice-actor as Renji from Bleach. This episode was the first time I actually noticed this. The highlight of this episode was when he went to the school and approached the girls like a pedophile going "hey girls, I want to show you something".
Mao is Ami Koshimizu of School Rumble (Tenma), Mai-Otome (Nina), and Eureka 7 (Anemone).
I recongized it in this eps right away from the imperious Yakuza Ojou tone that so resembles Nina Wang. I didn't even notice in the last eps though.
The two of them will probably be one of the most interesting side stories of a series I've seen. I was actually a little dissapointed the next eps goes back to Saya and company.
Let's hope the ratio doesn't stay the same. 14 Saya eps to every reporter guy ep.Quote:

Well, at first I wasn't so into this episode. Lone wolf journalist with burning passion blah blah. Father's unfinished mystery, yadda yadda.
But there were a couple really well done aspects that really made me enjoy this episode in the end. Lewis (the fat, dark skinned guy tailing the reporter), or rather, Lewis' van, were placed in alot of the shots. And then seeing him walk by in teh restaurant, walking out to his car through the window, and the next minute he's gone. That was reall sorta nifty. Also, Mao-sama is freaking badass. A little misguided, and doesn't seem to have great sense in men (Kai? come on...) but who the hell else steals 50Mil Yen from the Yakuza, even if they are your family?
Also, that reporter had sooo many cigarettes in his ashtray! Holy lung cancer Batman! His father and that one guy whose diary the Red Shield people are always referencing are going to be connected, mark my words. Yeah, it will be sorta a shame to get back to Saya and crew. I like David, Says and Riku. But Haji is way too cliche and Kai really annoys me most of the time...
Oh, and the new Cheveliar, James, seems to be pretty cool (and well connected). The brothers are really representing in this show! First Lewis, now this James baddie. Two dark skinned (i can't say for sure that Lewis is black, but I'm assuming so) guys in the same show! Its an anime milestone!
More importantly, they're not some sort of boxer, or loud, foul-mouthed, sex addict (Bob from Tenjou Tenge, etc.), or other random stereotype the Japanese impose on all foreigners. Both are quiet, well adjusted, and clearly very capable at whatever they do.
That's more of a milestone than the fact there's more than one.

They are going to continue the series. The person who made all those posts about dropping a bunch of series kinda did so on his own... and now he is no longer with the group. Along with Blood+ they will continue to sub the other 3 of the total 4 series that were reported as dropped. So, if you preferred SHS over Bakakozou, you can still get it from them. (they haven't released ep15 yet though)

I wonder when/how Lewis caught up with the other guys in the group in Russia, since he was left behind taking care of the reporter if not mistaken...
dont know, but it seems like Liza is a Chiro, maybe even a Chevalier for Diva sent by the badguys to watch Saya. For a second I thought I was going to get to see Haji's true form.
I actually think that Liza is the oldwoman that somehow got Liza's appearance... I'm pretty sure that the woman thrown off the train was Liza... Also if you notice, the current Liza has the ring that the old woman was wearing...
true, I forgot about that. I wonder if the ring and the shiny objects hold any power.Quote:

Liza was biten and around 11:56 you can see a huge scar on her back and that probebly where old woman came out as Liza
Liza's original jewelry was to help her identify with the other Red Shield members (most of them have some blood red jewelry or other article). I think the blue ring was really to help the audience realize the old woman had become Liza after she killed her. Other than that, the obvious blue/red difference clearly defines that they are on opposite sides. I don't think we'll be seeing too much more in the way of the blue jewelry (I very well could be wrong, but I really don't think those parallels are necessary).
Also, fake Liza's observation that Saya's blood was all over the sword shouldn't have been a shock to their side. Karl and the other Chevalier's sure seemed to be well aware of it.
Going with it anyway, more than anything now, I believe that Diva is a 'real' vampire just like Saya. We know that 'Diva' is a component in the cocktail that turns people into Chiro's. So the obvious conclusion is that Diva's blood turns them into Chiro's and Saya's ends the influence of Diva's blood. Assuming that Chiro's form from a diluted form of Diva's blood, maybe a person becomes a Chevalier when they take a pure hit of Diva's blood. On the same token, Saya's blood didn't seem to do too much to Karl, so I may be wrong on some aspect of this.
Karl survived because he ripped the infected limb off after Saya's attack.
And Liza had it coming, she didn't kiss Haji in the beginning of the episode.
haha... true! probably the old woman is a pawn of Haji sent for retaliation... that's why she jumped after Haji!Quote:

Dude, Lewis is THE PIMP! A pimp who only accepts payments in chocolate! Honestly, I thought that shit was absolutley hilarious.
Liza got killed off pretty quick... But that old woman is in her body now. David: "No Chiroptera in Russia since 1918." Old woman: "To visit my great-grandchild who has just been born." Was that a reference to Diva, to Saya? Or to something yet to come?
Decent episode. Kai needs to get some firepower. Riku is the most perfect little kid ever, adorable. Animation was really beautiful in this episode.
Ah, totally forgot about that. I should've listened to my own advice and rewatched that eps.Quote:

Well, in that case, Diva's blood must be what makes Chiro's and Chevaliers, while Saya's blood kills them.
so is haji made from saya's blood?
If one would've to guess, I guess yes... But we don't know the specifics of what these Chevaliers are really...
The Chinese subs sites seem much faster in turning out the episodes. So far they've released ep 17.
Ep 16 is one cool flick. Not because they're freezing their butts in the Siberian Express but the fighting scenes are worth waiting for.
I haven't read the rest of the BLOOD+ posts in this forum but here's the official link to watch trailers of the episodes.
Blood plus Trailers- CLICK HERE Hope it helps~
And I dislike Kai. Wish his yakuza girlfriend could just deliver him back to Okinawa and into oblivion. They could do better killing him off and give the other characters more airtime.
