They showed her holding a giant syringe, so I'm assuming she actually drained blood. They just didn't show it.

That's what I mean by "skipped" (didn't show it), and a chest drain as in one of these.

The reason blood doesn't just come out through the small needle and you need a big fat drain(tube) is because the blood congeals after trauma, and evacuating blood from that space isn't like drawing up fresh blood from a vein.

Huh, I really thought strong girl was going to be a better match for enemy strong girl.
Anyway, really cool episode.
Ready to kill with grenades but not with a machinegun... that was strange.
I understand they need to save those strong characters they built over the course of the show.
And that's exactly what Stanley did, he did not kill them either.
I guess they want us to swallow the "resources" reason we've been served on screen, but the grenades...

That the end of the season? Weirdly rushed episode.
It's a good way to trim the crew down for the next arc of the story.
It's weird how they just let 4 people go from the aircraft carrier when 3 of them were previously being tied down.
