I doubt the basic natures of the characters change that much. They are all filling quite specific slots, after all, and much of the traditional dynamics of the show depends on having people in those slots.

Seriously, it's nice that she's all raX0red now, but from the neck up she looks just like Neji used to look. I can't imagine that's a good image for Naruto when he's hittin' it doggy style.
And she really must be racked seriously. That coat is really heavy and her figure is still obvious through it.

I really do like her hair being longer, fits the Hyuuga style (looks style, not fighting style).
I'm thinking her personality is pretty much the same. Keep in mind, this Hinata is not the same one who did the arms-of-shiva no jutsu in that bug filler saga, so there's been no character development of her becoming more assertive.

I don't see what's not to understand, but I think you missed my point entirely. You can choose to include the filler as part of the "real" story if you want to (I won't, hell, most people would rather beleive the fillers don't exist). But I was saying that the Hinata pictured there is not the same Hinata as we saw in the fillers, because the events of the Bikochu arc never happened in the manga.Quote:

Yup, thats the thing with the fillers. They have zero impact (unless, in some god awful lapse of sanity they decide to do a 'throwback' to a filler episode or reference it somehow..., which one can argue would STILL not be part of the actual Naruto storyline, just being a branch of the fillers...) on the storyline.Quote:

So Ten-ten? We really don't know much about her abilities. Neji's Byakugan might just be able to sense non-living energies (should such a thing even exist). Hell, Lee might even get some kind of tolerance for alcohol (but lets hope he doesnt [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] ) Heck, as been pointed out elsewhere, as far as we know Naruto might still have trouble creating a proper Rasengan (having only done it 3 times in the manga up to this point...tho he'll probably train it in the time jump).
So yes, once the anime goes back to the storyline, forget everything they've shown you for the past couple months. Heck, I'l probably have to go back and reorient myself with the actual non-filler characters...

And come to think of it, it is kinda disheartening to think that Hinata is probably exactly the same as the last time she was seen in the (manga) storyline - at least in terms of her personality. Maybe she's learned some new Jyuuken techniques to make up for that, though.
