I really hope this isn't going to be like my hotmail spam problem......
Err... well, I haven't had any problems with spam on my Gmail account. Why don't you use that "Report Spam" button?
i don't have that problem, but there are spam filters, set them up.
Well it already is in the spam folder. I just want to know how to prevent them from spamming me. I tried to unsubscribe but it didn't work. At least i didn't get spam today and yesterday, maybe it needed some time to respond.
EDIT: I just got another mail. I think it is from the same spammer. I think the American government should send their overpaid special forces to assassinate those evil spammers.
hey is anyone else getting an amazing amount of spam in hotmail even though junk mail filters are up?

I have the same problem. but i have controlled it a little by using a popup blocker. but still
I only get about 1 junk mail per week to my Hotmail account, and I've had it for 7 or 8 years now. So far, I haven't gotten any spam to my gmail, but then I haven't used my gmail that much yet.
my hotmail box is filled with spam all the time, i dont even use it anymore its so bad.
i used to get heaps of spam, i get nothing now. maybe 1 a fortnight/month
fortnight means 2 weeks.
Often times, unsubscribing from mail listings lead to even more spam because the spammer knows that your account is in use when they get that unsubscription.Quote:

Never click unsubscribe.
I only get about 3 pieces of spam on Hotmail, and none on Gmail.
just get a spam blocker and your problems fixed
