The Death and Destructions of the Naruto Anime

well... i HIGHLY doubt that they will do a good job. the official statement said they plan to air the cartoon on saturday mornings on the WB starting in 2005.

they said they will release more info on how they will CHANGE the anime to suite their saturday morning demographic.

oh.. i guess they mean how can they ruin it and make them use cards to fight instead.

i guess they will remove all blood and anything violent. why would they buy an anime like this then? wtf....

i'm pretty sure the majority of naruto viewers are college students and some highschool kids... with a couple little kids too. but the majority i would say is college.

their gonna change the anime series for what? that 10-20% of the fans who watch it?

4KidsEntertainment better not fuck with this series i swear to god. If they do i guess i'll have to watch fansubs for the rest of my life.

but wouldn't that mean like sights like this would have to stop? for legal issues? and everything would go back to the irc way?

i just woke up and saw the news and this just started my day off really bad.

everything is gonna be fucked up. especially the voices.

There is no way in this Universe that Naruto was liscensed by 4Kids. If it was, I say we all rally around their offices in wherever, and blow it up. And make sure that Naruto is liscensed by someone good!

They actually have this as breaking news on the front page of www.narutofan.com. It is, as others have already pointed out though, April Fools. I have to admit though that I kinda peed myself first when I didn't realize the date for today.

Still, the way Cartoon Network butchered Inuyasha is no joke at all. And to add insult to injury, yesterday they put moustaches on *all* cartoons in Adult Swim...Futurama, That Robin witch, Big O, Bebop and all. It shouldn't be called Adult Swim but rather Retarded teenagers badly in need of a beating swim. Those bastards get *paid* to do that... sheesh...
And that makes highly likeable that this april fool's joke will one day be a reality, instead of an ugly nightmare...

If they did, they'd cut out the blood (there's not that much anyways... honestly there should be more) they would cut out the PG-13 cursing (damn, bastard, and I've seen fuck once) and thats about it. It would eventually be bought by Cartoon Network (like any anime that sells decently is) and the problem with the voices... is a big problem. Because the characters are kinda young... and 12 year old voices on them would suck alot. Can you imagine "My Na(voice cracks)me is Naruto!!"
