For me the best episode so far is 71...it was unbelievable (this isn't a spoiler right?just saying it was my favorite). Other honorable mentions would be: the episode where Gaara and Lee fight, Naruto with Jiraiya (hilarious), and Neji vs Naruto episode.
fight wise...hokage vs orochimaru and sasuke vs orochimaru.
comedy wise...anything with kakashi and gai. actually, there are A LOT of funny stuff in naruto.

Naruto vs. Neji or 71.
i havent watched 71 but for now my fav is 48 rock lee vs gaara.

Mine would have to be the episodes that ended the Wave Country saga 18-19 or something like that because it showcased Kyubi Naruto for the first time and Sasuke got his a$$ beat for all those anti-Sasuke fans. Plus Kakashi did chidori for the first time, but it was also the end of my favorite character Haku, but also the end for one of my most hated characters Zabuza
my fav one was ep 39, orochimaru vs sasuke..... that was so good!
the goods ones were:
the one when naruto summons a tadpool,70 and 71, the first appearance of sexy no jutsu (konohamaru's version as well) and shika vs temari (he SOOO deserves to be a chuunin). oh and the zabuza/haku series.
but my favourite one is the chuunin exam. i mean how they cheated on the test WAS SO CRAZZYYYY
Definately episode 9, where Kakashi has some great actions. The part where he copies Zabuza's hugo sealscombo rules everything.
The fight between Haku and Naruto. Especially when Naruto powers up

48-51, not to much talking, not to much flashbacks, not to much BS, all good. thats the way naruto should be.
