Who the heck is that cat character? I've seen him on a wallscroll I own, and he's on the OST I just got, but I never saw him in any of the episodes (and i've seen them all). Is he a character from a movie that hasn't been subbed yet, or what?
His name is Matamune. He doesn't appear in the anime, but he is in the manga. In fact he has a very important role, since he had a lot to do with Hao in previous life and is pretty important to Yoh as well. I shouldn't say much in case you will read the manga. I think he appears in Volume 17, or maybe 18.
